Week 2 Mingle

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.
The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.
Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

I've got no plans as of now and I don't see why it'd change. I'll be alone in my room.
no subject
Are you sure?
no subject
Why wouldn't I be?
no subject
...Because it's the second week where things are probably going to happen at night and all that.
no subject
I'll probably be safer alone than potentially inviting some monster spider in.
no subject
If you want to change your mind, let me know.

Well, if you're a giant murder spider, I'll shoot you. Otherwise, whatever.
[ He'll shoot any murder spiders coming close to you too. ]
no subject
You definitely don't have to worry about that.
[ Kohaku you're the best. ]
no subject
[Jeez, it’s like an entire herd of cats in here.]
no subject
[ Go ahead, list them. ]

[Almost nobody had a solid alibi and it was a pain in the ass??]
Besides, I think your violin could probably help us out.
no subject
I have absolutely no interest in becoming a hint for future trials. Dying just so others can get ahead would be a pain in the ass.
...what do you need my violin for?
no subject
[Of course it also makes it easier to figure out the dying thing, but she's not the type to think solely in those terms, despite being pragmatic enough.]
Well, so far I think it's a good way to stay up as long as you can, but it might have other uses too.
no subject
You're just trying to weasel your way into a free concert.
no subject
Oh, were you charging?
[You've been giving so many free concerts Kohaku!! A quick shake of her head, and then:]
But I was serious. If the rooms are soundproof, then there has to be a way to use sound like... a deterrent. Though your weird skill might cover the room...
[She's really just thinking out loud now.]
no subject
It probably would take up all of it, yeah. No sound gets in, no sound gets out, no sound exists inside either.
Totally isolated music space sounds good to me, but not particularly useful unless something has sound-based powers and can be contained by being kept quiet.
no subject
That means that instead of using something live, it's better to use a recording. [a recording from over 5 meters away, anyway] I've been talking about traps and alarms with Snake-san.
no subject
[ What do we even have or not have - Kohaku doesn't know how a fucking tablet even works. ]
no subject
[They'd be pretty easy to tamper with, but they'd be better than nothing, at the end of the day.]

[At this point she feels like even minor traps would be helpful. It's not like the monsters are, what, rats or pests or something. But it's the difference between having a lock and a wide-open door. (Not that locks help here, but whatever.)]
