WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

No, but I should be fine on my own. Like I said, I'm not going to enforce people to stay with others, since I'm going to be by myself, too.

[This feeling of uncertain dread really is the worst; Minato's no stranger to death, but he doesn't want this to happen anymore...!!]

[ She puts a hand on Minato's shoulder if it's allowed, but if it is? He might notice her fingers are trembling. ]

I'm not going to do anything reckless like go out late at night and make an attempt to murder the monsters.

[He'll let her touch his shoulder without complaint, but those trembling fingers...

I'm not so kind as to do something like that. I'm... sorry. But I can't help them.

Like I said, I'm not going to stay with anyone and that's--

I can't. I really, really can't. Please understand, I just. [ Does she have to admit something that she really doesn't want to? Guess so! Her voice is trembling slightly as she admits: ] I don't trust anyone here? I can't stay with someone that I can't possibly trust.

[She’s judging a little, but only because everyone who is alone is pretty concerning??]

If you don’t want to stay with people, what about one of the animals? It’s not perfect, but it’s better than nothing.

[They’re starting to accumulate a menagerie here.]

[ She smiles a little bitterly. ] I mean, if the animal isn't exactly crazy, it should be fine... probably?

[She's teasing! But she was totally looking forward to hanging with Cappy too. It's fine, they'll take a capy-less one for the team.]

[ Inaba is usually good at avoiding it, but she's extremely stressed and in a situation where it's hard for her to sleep, ssssso. Thought processes are not at its best. ]
