WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

Yeah, there are people I could ask if we're going for the whole safety in numbers thing.

I think it's partially that, and partially...

In case what happened last week happens again, at least... you'll have people who can vouch for where you were, you know?

...I mean, I guess, but it doesn't seem like a good plan to rely on that too much. People vouching for each other, I mean.

I know. But it's really all we can do right now... rather--I just don't want anyone to come across as suspicious when they didn't do anything wrong, just because they stayed alone.

So... it's good for two reasons.

[wrongtiming]

[That does make sense to him, at least, so he gives a nod.]

Okay. [...] Who are you staying with?

[messianic]

With Akira and Makoto-san... we're from the same place, so it makes sense.

[He looks contemplative.]

I think Akira might invite more people as well... if you need a place to stay, I can ask him about it.

[It's Akira's room, though, so he can't just ask at will. It'd be rude.]

[wrongtiming]

Oh - you, too? I knew about him, Makoto and Iwai, but...

[Interesting. Regardless, he shakes his head.]

No, I think I'm probably going to ask Anthy. Thanks, though.

[messianic]

Yeah. [different time, same place. Close enough.]

That's good to hear, though. Take care of yourself, okay?

[wrongtiming]

[He nods.]

For sure. You too, alright?
