WEEK 1 - MINGLE

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.
The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?
So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?
In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

He spent the entire day yesterday examining every inch of the place, trying to find anything useful or something he could use to, you know, avoid people's deaths or find who isn't human anymore, but he didn't find anything useful.
He did find booze, though. There he is, at the restaurant area, a couple bottles on the table]
Looks like I got some kinda VIP room. I have been gettin' good shit for a while already.
[He says, pointing at the bottles. You're an adult? Feel free to take one. No way a kid will be allowed to take one, though.
Later that day Iwai's at the ski slopes, staring into the distance. Nothing that looks remotely like a way out in middle of the snow. If they have to stay until the snow clears...well it sure will be a long while]
The rats been botherin' you?
[Iwai has seen them around, but they haven't bothered him. Which is better than he expected from a resort filled with rats, really. It's surprising]

He sets his coffee cup on the table and looks through the bottles.]
You got lucky, man.

[Wow, that was rude from the staff]
no subject
If I did, I don't know how. I haven't even spoken to any of them yet.
[A bottle of vodka finally catches his attention and he just rests his hand on it.]
I hope you don't mind if I take a bottle or two.

[ He was out here too, after a few failed attempts of leaving himself but stubbornly trying to see if there was a way out anyway. ]

[Maybe they're trained, in which case he wonders why they needed to train rats]

[ So theoretically, they should be congregating more to the kitchen if anywhere. ]

Sure Phil has never talked to Iwai’s before, but maybe he can get something out of it.]
Hey, who’s dick did you have to suck to get that much booze?
[Great first impression.]
no subject
More like I had to smash a couple kneecaps.
[Not really, hah!]
Better this than the doghouse someone else got.
[All in all, Iwai can't complain]

Didn't know you were a fan of day drinking. You sure that's a good idea with how many kids are around?
[She's not dumb--she was a teenager, once. At some point, some kid's going to want to steal one of those bottles.]
no subject
[And even then it was with a former friend. Iwai serves himself a drink, just to have a taste of this -- definitely not getting drunk in a murderresort]
You think they'll try to sneak into my room and score a couple bottles of booze?

[Wandering to the table, Snake tilts one of the bottles by the neck to get a look at it, and smirks just a bit, before setting the bottle back down.]
Think I got all the boxes for those.

[As if Iwai cares about the breaking the law part, hah! But yeah, he's dragging the bottles a bit closer to himself, just to make clear he's not giving any to Akira]
You got anythin' good with your room, or am I the only one who's gettin' good stuff in this place?

[On the bright side, he's not making any moves to touch the alcohol. He's a good child! At least in that regard.]

You sayin' you got pizza with your room?
[Either that or Yoshi asked for pizza from the staff already. He's not sure which one is better -- pizza is not a priority to have in this place]

Good. It'd be troublesome if the rats were getting so bold they'd approach you and your...friend.

restaurant!
[You, AKA an adult, because honestly though she knows booze is a hot commodity among older folk for some reason she's actually sheltered and straitlaced enough in her daily life that she's never given it much thought. Her brother really isn't the type to get into business drinking, either.
Let's see... if she recalls correctly, this guy is a little shady, but that could describe half the adults, so.]
Some of the rooms really are VIP, and others are just weird. I have no idea how they're deciding on these.
[She was dealing with Akira's extremely knife room yesterday, go figure.]
no subject
[He can give a lot of uses to booze, none of them being drinking any of it himself. Indeed, Aoi, bartering with it for info and stuff is a possibility!]
