WEEK 1 - MINGLE

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.
The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?
So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?
In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

[You, AKA an adult, because honestly though she knows booze is a hot commodity among older folk for some reason she's actually sheltered and straitlaced enough in her daily life that she's never given it much thought. Her brother really isn't the type to get into business drinking, either.
Let's see... if she recalls correctly, this guy is a little shady, but that could describe half the adults, so.]
Some of the rooms really are VIP, and others are just weird. I have no idea how they're deciding on these.
[She was dealing with Akira's extremely knife room yesterday, go figure.]

[He can give a lot of uses to booze, none of them being drinking any of it himself. Indeed, Aoi, bartering with it for info and stuff is a possibility!]
Really? What did you get?
no subject
I've never figured out why people are so into this stuff. It's expensive too, right? They're basically just handing you money.
[She does understand the prices, though. Most of these look expensive.]
Oh, my room's not that special. It's just blue. I don't mind the theme, but I've definitely seen weirder rooms.
no subject
[Look all you want, Aoi, but no touching if you're a minor!]
Just blue? That's...normal. More than I expected from this place.
[...]
No secret passages in there or anythin'?
[It can't be a normal room! That has to be impossible!]

[So in that sense, he still has a ton of money stashed away. Sort of? That's the general idea she's getting at, anyway. There's a small huff when she isn't allowed to examine the bottles more closely, but she doesn't bother pushing. It's just the idle curiosity she directs at a lot of things in this place.]
Anyway, I mean... I didn't know there were all these strange rooms out there until I started talking to people. And it's not like I'm really good at checking for secret passages.
[She didn't check. Why would she think of that?]
no subject
[Hm...maybe hers is just a generic room, after all. Just...blue. For some reason]
no subject
Just food so far, I'm not sure how much I want creepy drones giving me stuff.
[She's thinking about it, though, since they're trapped here and all.]
Why? What did you get?
no subject
[It's a mystery how they get them]
no subject
[There's a semi-dubious but also semi-thoughtful tone to her musings. Like, it makes sense for a regular hotel or resort or whatever in the mountains. But given the things she's seen here so far...
Or maybe it's the other way around. Maybe the location is just exactly right for what they do here. Great.]
What kinds of dangerous items...?
no subject

Of course they're just handing those out. [it's more exasperated than anything] But you're right, those aren't things you just stockpile. Maybe some for the wildlife? But not for the tourists.
[They really aren't tourists at all.]
