WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

[Wandering to the table, Snake tilts one of the bottles by the neck to get a look at it, and smirks just a bit, before setting the bottle back down.]

Think I got all the boxes for those.

Yeah. Can't see the room for all the cardboard.

[Doesn't sound like he's complaining.]

They didn't give me much else besides a poster.

Never did. I got into my room and I found that. I'm not even that fond of booze.

[But it could be useful...some people's weakness is booze. He could try to get info that way.

[Snake’s been put off the stuff from far too much of it, but that initial appeal was still there.]

It’d be easy to develop a habit in a place like this.

Can't blame them for being tempted, though.

I know. The commander woman [Ripley] thinks some of the kids will try to break into my room to get these, but I'm sure some adults will be the ones to try that, not the kids.

[No idea which adults, but yeah]

You never know, they could surprise you.

[The kids here, so far, have given Snake more concern than children in such a situation otherwise would.]

...But I’d keep an eye on Bennings. Maybe get a guard dog.

Already gave him a bottle and told him it was the last one. If he tries to get in my room after that then he's an idiot.

For now. Better for everyone to know I have these, instead of them findin' out later and making a fuss about it.

[And this also gives him the chance to establish himself as the go-to guy if alcohol is ever needed. It's valuable -- could be bartered for things like info and favors]
