WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

Only if I manage to sell them. Not that I know anythin' about sellin' booze. I know about selling, but not this.

Well, even if you don't sell them, they spent a lot of money on keeping you stocked, didn't they?

[So in that sense, he still has a ton of money stashed away. Sort of? That's the general idea she's getting at, anyway. There's a small huff when she isn't allowed to examine the bottles more closely, but she doesn't bother pushing. It's just the idle curiosity she directs at a lot of things in this place.]

Anyway, I mean... I didn't know there were all these strange rooms out there until I started talking to people. And it's not like I'm really good at checking for secret passages.

[She didn't check. Why would she think of that?]

You asked them for anythin' yet? They're pretty good at gettin' random stuff whenever you want.

[Hm...maybe hers is just a generic room, after all. Just...blue. For some reason]

[For some mysterious reason that we just can't seem to put our finger on......]

Just food so far, I'm not sure how much I want creepy drones giving me stuff.

[She's thinking about it, though, since they're trapped here and all.]

Why? What did you get?

All kinda things. Food, small items, a couple more dangerous ones...they just walked out of sight and then brought it back. It all happened quickly.

[It's a mystery how they get them]

If they're in the mountains... maybe they have a stash somewhere, for the guests?

[There's a semi-dubious but also semi-thoughtful tone to her musings. Like, it makes sense for a regular hotel or resort or whatever in the mountains. But given the things she's seen here so far...

Or maybe it's the other way around. Maybe the location is just exactly right for what they do here. Great.]

What kinds of dangerous items...?

Sharp blades, guns, all that kinda thing... [He doesn't seem too concerned about people knowing he has been asking for that kind of thing] I returned everything, but it's not somethin' a tourist ski resort should have lots of. It's strange.

[She doesn't seem particularly surprised, either, but again -- see: Akira's room and literally everything that's happened since they arrived. Honestly, if she didn't come packaged with a whip from hammerspace she might be looking for something to defend herself by now.]

Of course they're just handing those out. [it's more exasperated than anything] But you're right, those aren't things you just stockpile. Maybe some for the wildlife? But not for the tourists.

[They really aren't tourists at all.]
