INVESTIGATION (?)

Friday morning comes and goes with no dead bodies to discover. Saturday morning passes with no trial. For two days, it seems like the Lady might be keeping to her word. This might truly be a week of rest, with no outside trouble brought in.

(She takes no responsibility for the incident in the vents, so.)

But then on Saturday night, close to midnight, the sound cuts off throughout the resort. The cause of the sudden quiet is unknown, but one thing is clear: something bad has happened.

[On his way out of his room, Roxas will smell blood. And if he looks around, he will find two figures close to his door.]

Okay, Roxas will hurry over to the two figures. What are these two figures and what are they doing? ...If they're bodies, hopefully he's not too late (also this is his first time seeing a dead body up close in the game if so) ]

[ Oh, fuck... Coming from the North end of the resort, here is Kohaku. He speeds up his steps a lot when he sees Roxas and the figures. ]

Hey, what's going on??

[At least one of them is unmistakable to Roxas, seeing as how he has been sharing a room with him. His back is marred by a set of four long gashes, which cut deep into both cloth and skin. And with so much blood on him, the end result is not surprising.

Vanitas is...not dead? For now.

The other figure, with his unmistakable pink hair, is similarly injured. But it seems like Vanitas took the brunt of the attack, so while the other figure has shredded clothing and cuts, the cuts aren't quite as deep.

Gerome is also alive. For now.]

[ IMMEDIATELY RUSHING TO HIS SIDE ]

Vanitas!

[ This sure happened.

He's going to just...keep casting a repetitive stream of curing spells on Vanitas and Gerome as quickly as he possibly can, fear and anxiety on his face, desperate to close those injuries up at the very least.

...He's definitely trying his best here, and it doesn't stop him from immediately coming to Vanitas' side, either. ]

[ That's his exclamation when seeing Vanitas, Gerome is whatever... Sorry. Kohaku's going to pull his two guns and position himself in front of Roxas and Vanitas as to shield them if whatever attacked comes back... because he has a solid idea of what did attack. ]

[Good idea, Kohaku! You can stand guard for now.]

[The cure spells definitely help, and will lengthen the time he has to help them. But ultimately, these injuries are serious, and he's going to need help to keep them from bleeding out.]

Their effectiveness is weakened, but here--!

[ throwing a vulnerary at Roxas to help with Vanitas as he uses one of his own on Gerome. ]

[ Time to use the vulnerary on Vanitas here, but also open up his tablet to see about radioing in for help straight after by sending messages everywhere, sorry guys. ]

Medic makes a mad dash for room 110, Medigun under one arm and a bunch of supplies under the other. The Medigun still won't work past the lowest setting, but he can at least help stabilize someone with it and stop them from fucking dying. He'll turn it whichever person is the most injured(IE Vanitas) and get to work physically stabilizing him, applying pressure to their wounds to staunch bleeding.

Gerome can chill for now I guess]

[katherine normally wouldn't respond to the distress call but if anything she thought she can get something out of this by helping so she with her vampire speed she is pretty quick to get to the scene]

Do they still need medical help?

[Tsumugi was planning on staying in. Atsushi specifically asked them to. But getting this message, just before she was about to go to sleep... it has her running out of her room, clad in only only pajamas. She doesn't stop running until she reaches the scene.]

R-roxas!? Where's Vanitas and- and- what happened!?

[There's actual legit panic in her voice for once.]

[The minor healing brigade has arrived on their way to Gerome's body, comprising of Rean, Cinque and Ryoga. It only takes a moment to register what's going on before Rean dashes over to Gerome and Vanitas, kneeling to examine their wounds. Looks like he'll get to toss shitty healing arts around after all. Since Roxas seems to have Vanitas kind of covered, he'll be directing his attention to Gerome instead.]

What happened here?!

They've been attacked by some kind of beast and need healing!

[He nods at Gerome, looking over at what Roxas is doing and... okay, here's a Teara cast at Gerome. He'll also pull out a couple of small tins of ointment and hand them over to Owain.]

Can you undress him? We have clean out his wounds first.

Yeah, I can do that.

[ working on getting that armor off. also please feel free to ignore the tears streaming down his face as he just found out his cousin is dead ]

[He does give a sympathetic glance over at Owain, but first he'll call for the staff to grab them some water in a basin, antiseptics and clean bandages. Once that's all assembled, he'll help with getting the armor and clothing off, speaking quietly.]

We'll get them through this, okay? We won't lose them, not now.

They need real help, especially with wrapping up their wounds and stopping the bleeding...

[ Roxas is not good at doing either of those except by staving it off by magic. He knows that's not really answering the question but that's also because he has no idea of the full events...so besides "attacked" he doesn't know. ]

[He nods briskly and takes a deep breath. Focus.]

I know some basic first aid, but we'll probably need the Medic's help to get them through this one. But maybe we can get some bandages and disinfectant from the staff.

[ Roxas calls out to a staff to get some bandages and disinfectant. To make things faster and since it was said these would be fine, it doesn't take long for him to get them.

...he'll actually be grateful enough to say 'thank you' too before he passes the items onto Rean. ]

While we're waiting for Medic, do you think you could undress Vanitas? We need to clean his wounds first.
