INVESTIGATION (?)

Friday morning comes and goes with no dead bodies to discover. Saturday morning passes with no trial. For two days, it seems like the Lady might be keeping to her word. This might truly be a week of rest, with no outside trouble brought in.

(She takes no responsibility for the incident in the vents, so.)

But then on Saturday night, close to midnight, the sound cuts off throughout the resort. The cause of the sudden quiet is unknown, but one thing is clear: something bad has happened.

Either way, Medic sighs.]

Now that you're a little more awake- are you sure you want to drink the vampire blood? I have no idea what the effects will be, but she seems to believe it'll heal you completely. The downside is that if you die within the next 24 hours, you'll become a vampire.

Of course, I can go back to healing you my way, but it'll take much longer to reach a full recovery. its your choice

You'll need at least a few weeks. maybe a little less, with those healing spells some of you have. it's not ideal, but with my Medigun out of whack, it's the best I can offer

[ His lips press together a little tighter for a moment. ]

[ With a quiet breath, he nods. ]

... Well, he's had blood in his mouth before, but not to this extent. He's definitely having to force it, even if he's too exhausted and everything else for his face to make that lone detail obvious.

Once that's over, he's going to be wiping at his mouth, his brow tense as he releases a slow breath. He does feel a lot better — better than he'd expected. There's a moment where he's actually looking hesitant, awkward... But, he finally speaks quietly: ]

Thanks. [ but then he's giving her a somewhat knowing kind of smirk ] What do I owe?
