WEEK 1 EXECUTION

Just like before, you all get up in the morning...but you know that after today, there will be less of you.
The Lady appears again, leading you all up the stairs to the third floor, past whatever glimpses of the upper floors you might get. This time, it's to a chapel - where a screen near the altar is already playing a video, the sound of the most beautiful instrument in the world washing over you all as you take a seat in the pews.
The Lady puts down some tarp near the altar, as if expecting this to get messy. When she's finished, she sets her gaze on all of you, her beautiful somehow awful during this moment before someone dies.
"Good morning. Shall we begin this execution?"

EXECUTION
Every execution needs an executioner. Though I suspect the picking may have been rigged - [She glances at The Captain, who shrugs] - I will honor it anyway,
Phil Connors. You have been chosen as The Medic's executioner tonight. Please join me and your victim up before the Altar.
[Without waiting for a response, she continues -]
Please pick from one of these methods of execution: Hanging, Drowning, Stabbing, Strangling, Immolation, Electrocution, or the Iron Maiden. You have ten minutes to decide.

What?! You can’t just make me pick how I should murder someone I... don’t hate, let alone force me to go through with it!

[Phil doesn't seem like the kind of person that'd ever kill someone. Iwai can only imagine how stressed he is now, being forced to be an executioner]

[. . . anyway also he's a little bruised today?? there's a cut on one of his cheeks, too. and if someone is paying attention, they may notice the white splash of bandages poking out from underneath one sleeve.]

Unlike Anthy, though, his eyes are fixed straight ahead on the execution. It doesn't seem right if he doesn't at least watch, even if he hates that they're all here at all.

There are quite a few bruises visible along his knuckles and on his eye. His clothes make it kind of difficult to see anything else.

After The Death
Does the body get burned? I should've asked this Friday already, but there was such a commotion I kinda got sidetracked.

He also will end up watching the whole execution, beginning to end. No looking away. He owes Medic that much at least.
His hands are shaking slightly by the end of it, though.]

POST-DEATH
Mm. Still pretty blank. He's not sure how to feel about this. About the death of Szayel, or the Medic, or even seeing the results of the latter for himself.
Once again, he casts a look around, quietly seeing how the others are reacting. Because for him, there's just a whole
lot of
nothing.]

MEDIIIIIIIC!
[When that smell hits, that burning, the ever-stoic Snake just becomes vacant. He'd never forgotten that stench, but to feel it right there before him again...not picking immolation didn't make any difference, huh?
He'll move in a moment, he has to follow survival instinct, after all.]
post-execution
He watches Medic's death with a steely expression, calm despite what's happening. When the smell hits his nostrils, though, the calmness turns into something more strained. He's still not really showing any emotion, but he suddenly gets up from the pew and walks out without looking at anyone.]
post-execution
It's only when the smell hits her nose that she actually reacts, frowning quite a bit as she tenses up, her grip tightening, but she doesn't move to leave immediately.
She just.
Finds herself lowering her head, chewing on her nail -- a bad habit of hers -- as she finds herself practically frozen in her seat, just staring at the floor a little helplessly. ]
Post Execution
She isn't used to mourning. She isn't used to people remembering the dead and being so broken up over it. This is the weight the memory carries in the living, and she doesn't like it.
Cinque is quiet for a change, but she'll approach anyone who meets her look to grab on to their shirt or jacket and hold on. ]

Rather than leaving immediately, Anthy will actually head in the opposite direction to the front of the chapel -- as unpleasant an experience as that is now, and she's definitely holding her breath a little -- to lay a white rose in front of the electric chair.
Maybe this is really why they gave her these.
After that, she'll turn to go. ]
