EXECUTION

Just like before, you all get up in the morning...but you know that after today, there will be less of you.

The Lady appears again, leading you all up the stairs to the third floor, past whatever glimpses of the upper floors you might get. This time, it's to a chapel - where a screen near the altar is already playing a video, the sound of the most beautiful instrument in the world washing over you all as you take a seat in the pews.

The Lady puts down some tarp near the altar, as if expecting this to get messy. When she's finished, she sets her gaze on all of you, her beautiful somehow awful during this moment before someone dies.

"Good morning. Shall we begin this execution?"

[God, birds are so much harder to handle than dogs. Snake tries his best to keep a hold of him without crushing the poor thing.]

Archimedes - no!

[Ripley notes Snake struggling to bird and purses her lips.]

Try...Try covering his head with something, it'll help calm him down.

[And, ah. Avoid Archimedes seeing his dad die. Two birds with one stone.]

[That's how they send birds to sleep, right?]

[She takes off her Nostromo jacket and hands it to Snake.]

Just be gentle with him.

Gentle isn't really my style.

[Still, he tries to be delicate as he covers the bird with the jacket. Please, go to sleep, Archimedes.]

[Archimedes will not sleep, thank you, but he does calm down a bit. He can't struggle his way out from under a jacket. He stops trying. He does start cooing- loud enough for Medic to hear him up at the alter. Medic looks a little surprised at first, and then... sad. He shakes it off long enough to go back to discussing his own death with Phil, but it's probably the only time this whole execution that Medic actually looks worried.]
