WEEK 1 EXECUTION

EXECUTION

Just like before, you all get up in the morning...but you know that after today, there will be less of you.

The Lady appears again, leading you all up the stairs to the third floor, past whatever glimpses of the upper floors you might get. This time, it's to a chapel - where a screen near the altar is already playing a video, the sound of the most beautiful instrument in the world washing over you all as you take a seat in the pews.

The Lady puts down some tarp near the altar, as if expecting this to get messy. When she's finished, she sets her gaze on all of you, her beautiful somehow awful during this moment before someone dies.

"Good morning. Shall we begin this execution?"

[ So, guess who else is covered in injuries!!!

There are quite a few bruises visible along his knuckles and on his eye. His clothes make it kind of difficult to see anything else.

Anyway, he looks kind of. Calm. Genuinely calm... ]

not that she actually cares about Vanitas, actually, but what the hell, everyone ]

[ You know, that's honestly fair. ]

[looks over at him at some point and just. arches a brow. how are you feeling, bud]

[the cut on his cheek is still there, thin but bright red]

[ His jawline tenses the tiiiiiniest bit before he returns that glance.

... And then gives a sort of. Half-assed wave. He doesn't wait for any returned gesture before looking back to the execution. ]

[Akira's mouth twitches, the ghost of a smile, before he huffs a laugh and turns away. by the time he's watching Phil and Medic again, his expression has hardened]

Did all of you meet to punch each other or what?

[There are so many bruised teens today, and after Vanitas arrives Iwai just can't hold that comment back anymore]

Not exactly.

[ His demeanor isn't remotely shifting, and there's no pause: ]

I attacked Akira, and he fought back.

...would be great if you don't do it again.

[He's not exactly worried because Akira can defend himself, but still, this kid's attacking Akira. Not okay]

[ He's not surprised that guy has all these people worried about him. He just gives a wave of his hand, sighing quietly. ]

I've got better things to do with my time.

If he looks at Vanitas' numbers, will he be able to see the extent of his injuries, or will the numbers come out unable to be converted for ooc opt out reasons?]

[ He'll be able to see that they're... not actually bad, at all! ]

[They're still injuries! Even Yoshi's frowning a bit his way, though he'll leave it for later.]

[ He'll glance over, eyebrow quirked...

But, he won't be asking what the frown is for (he has a few guesses). ]

[ He's peering over now...but doesn't say anything yet. ]

[ He's very slowly glancing back over... and won't be saying anything, either. Instead, he's just reaching up and briefly scrubbing a hand through his own hair. ]

[ He'd sigh, but...considering what happened, he can't really fault anyone who got into a fight last night because ha ha ha...so he'll say just loud enough for Vanitas to hear: ]

...Looks like last night was really eventful, wasn't it?

[ He releases a quiet exhale... deciding to match volume. ]

You could say that, again.

[ There's not much bite to his voice, this time. Just a kind of tiredness that even a good night's sleep couldn't fix. ]

[Vanitas just gets

[ He can't help wondering if he'd be even sadder after finding out who he attacked...

Not that he's exactly... quiet... when he says it to Iwai. ]

[ That's the only reason Minato's sad, clearly!!!! ]

He's fine. If I'd wanted to seriously hurt him, I would have been way more careful.

... Yes, of course.

[He's Akira's friend.

... You're my friend too, though. Please be more careful, for your own sake as well.

[ ... Sure, let's go with that. ]

[At this point she's just assuming y'all jumped in an angry moshpit.]

[ That's not an unfair thought. ]
