WEEK 1 EXECUTION

Just like before, you all get up in the morning...but you know that after today, there will be less of you.
The Lady appears again, leading you all up the stairs to the third floor, past whatever glimpses of the upper floors you might get. This time, it's to a chapel - where a screen near the altar is already playing a video, the sound of the most beautiful instrument in the world washing over you all as you take a seat in the pews.
The Lady puts down some tarp near the altar, as if expecting this to get messy. When she's finished, she sets her gaze on all of you, her beautiful somehow awful during this moment before someone dies.
"Good morning. Shall we begin this execution?"

[Hi he doesn’t want to be covered with blood.
But he sighs and look over at the Staff.]
I guess we’ll go with electrocution in that case.

An old fashioned electric chair, setting it down with a harsh THUNK as they grab medic and begin to strap him in.
The Lady hands him a button attached to it.]
Whenever you're ready, hit the button. There are more than enough volts to kill him with this.

Yeah, just one button
And yet, watching Medic, realizing that he has to kill someone he cares about, makes Phil freezes up. Suddenly the idea of pressing a button feels as difficult as living a ten ton weight, or swimming across the ocean.
Or being able to successfully leave Punxsutawney, for that matter.
Phil stares at Medic, hands shaking in pure horror.]

Is enough to at least briefly shake Phil out of his horror, and he gives The Medic a Look.
He's trying to have a moment here at least try to indulge him a little??]

Phil swallows as he looks back at the panel he was given.
He pauses for one more moment before he finally...
Presses the button.]

The moment Phil presses the button, there's a hum of energy, and Medic jerks back in the chair. The straps prevent him from convulsing too much, but his body writhes against them. He shouts out something unintelligible at the first shock, which quickly devolves into complete gibberish.
Anyone close enough to the front of the room may be able to smell something like... burning hair and flesh.
The electric hum ceases after about thirty seconds, at which point the body stops convulsing and slumps over.
Medic is not only dead, he's extra crispy.]

As soon as The Medic stops moving, Phil falls to his knees, still staring at Medic's body.
He's fine.]

He scoops him up, much like a bag of flour, and heaves him over his shoulder. Up you get, Phil. He's taking you out of here.]
