ROUND 5 WATCHING POST

Everyone who was there in some shape or form for the meeting on March 1st gets a notice that soon, the location where they'll have to go to watch what happened in the Winchester Incident will be made available for them. Frisk requests a list of those going to see what happened, but doesn't seem to discourage high numbers.

And shortly before the 30th, those that signed up will finally get a name and place - The Hayes Mansion, only a little bit away by drive from the Winchester House. As they drive, the more magically inclined might be able to sense a powerful barrier emanating from the direction the Winchester House is located, though they'll be unable to see anything.

Arriving there, they'll find that any and all other guests have been removed from the Hotel resort, and there's a sign on the door saying that it is Closed for major renovation and fumigation, which would explain the outfits you were given to be 'seen' walking into the place with, as well as all the vans and 'containers' you were told to put your belongings into.

Once inside, a helpful staff member directs you to put the costumes into a specific bin for collection- unless, of course, you would like to keep wearing them - and then another directs you to the front desk, where a pleasant, yet authoritative man is waiting.

WEEK THREE RECAP

Alright, it's that time again and as a reminder: I'll be glossing over the specifics of the deaths out of respect to all parties involved. If it somehow becomes relevant in finding out more information about the house or Tages, then I'll go over it once again, but that's how it's going to be.

If anybody does want a recap of the murders specifically, however - feel free to contact me privately. Same goes for if you would prefer me to not speak about any specific murders. I'll respect the wishes of any relevant parties.

This week is a shorter one than the previous weeks, but as always, if I've missed anything in my summary, feel free to let me know.

First things first: Jack is the new Vessel. Which seems to imply a pattern... similar to how the Witch's game had it. We'll see next week if this seems to hold up. If it does, then we can concretely say one way or another.

And this week, we finally had our first motive. Naturally, all of us are skeptical about it for several reasons - the first being that the wording was rather vague, the second being that since they were all infected with miasma, they could have ended up like... well.

Apparently Jack - or well, the Vessel, I suppose, came up with the motive. I thought it was interesting that only one person would be allowed to be let out, if I'm going to be honest, in spite of how many people could potentially die. Also, rules don't seem to apply to ex-Vessels, either.

This week, there were also a lot of traps. While it seems most of the traps were lethal, or at the very least could actually physically hurt someone, there was one miasma-based trap that filled up an entire room. As well as bug-related traps, too. Also, as a reminder, for anyone who might be idiotic enough to do it: if we do go in and you find a very obvious trap... for god's sake, don't fucking do it.

[SHE'S TALKING ABOUT THE BLOODY MARY]

The most relevant part in all this is the library, though. There were three books found - A Long Journey, Encyclopedia Britannica R-S and Assorted Musings on the Futility of Life. I'm a little curious to the fact that these books were chosen in particular... ah, but I digress.

Each cover had a 1, 3, and 8 respectively, and all books had at least 300 pages.

On page 138, words were highlighted and when put together, they spelled out "TUG RED BOOK ON 3RD LOWER SHELF ON THE RIGHT WALL TWICE". It also seems like they found a basement, which... is, well. A staple of horror movies? So it's probably important, especially given that there were cobwebs, too.

There was also a diary found and some torn parts from it that said the following:

[clears throat, NARRATOR VOICE TIME]

"My previous home fell victim to the floods...it was horrible, but I managed to escape with my life, though I've lost a place to live.

As I am still a young, healthy woman, I am certain that I will be able to recover from this awful loss...but I should find a far better place to live, away from the water.

I will have to travel for some time, but I believe it will be for the best. There should be plenty of food to find where I am going, at the very least."

The next page wrote...

"I'm finally at my new home, though it took a few days travel and preparation. I am tired, but I've already had a nice meal and settled in as much as I could. My new home is out of the way, I think - and as I suspected, there's plenty of game to go around here, so I should never truly go hungry.

On my way here, I noticed a particularly handsome man staring at me. Though I hurried away at the time, I certainly wouldn't mind if he came calling in a bit - though perhaps not so soon after settling in. He did look quite fine, though...certainly a man healthy enough to also catch my eyes!

I shall leave it at this for now, and look forward to more peaceful days of living quietly off the lay of the land."

Also, they found a raccoon - which, uh. I guess is kind of weird? I don't know if anybody speaks raccoon and wants to go over the footage and try translating, but if someone does, then... go for it, I guess? And a newspaper explicitly from 1922 which talked about some team sports in the trophy room.

Another thing that was found was a Pokeball - probably from Todd's cosplay? Or one of his friends, if they did like, group cosplays? And a note that states:

"Food shipment instructions
There's a side entrance for accepting food deliveries.
Use the old phone next to the door to make shipment orders."

And on Thursday, Agent T made the group go on a scavenger hunt which allowed the group to find items and unscramble a hidden message which says to 'look at hallways'.

Here [she turns her laptop around to reveal this] is a quickly edited section of the map we have so far with all of the hallways drawn together.

Feel free to share your thoughts on that.

Ah, and there was the double murder this week; one innocent had to get killed due to one of the 'killers' already being dead, but nothing much to note on that front unless someone wants to bring it up, but considering... I'd rather not.

The choice Kiske and Dazai had - there is no winning. Though I believe as honest as Kiske is, he would not have been able to maintain any sort of deception.

week 4 - body investigation

[ well oda's been...alright these past 4 weeks, despite the slight spikes of stress whenever he sees dazai's face and the way that his chest hurts whenever he and that man from the government talk.

it's not like he's ever really known the man in the glasses--ango sakaguchi--but apparently it's one that the other him knew.

and yet, when the recording gets to the body investigation, those nearby will hear the sound of ceramic breaking on the floor, coffee now staining it.

oda can only stare at the recording, not registering the fact that the mug that was once on his hand was now on the floor, nor understanding why he felt like something was being ripped in half inside him. all he can do is stare, silent. ]

[being rather familiar with the party involved, Inaba finds herself taking a glance over at Oda with a bit of concern - she's also a little worried about Atsushi depending on how Dazai reacts to it might be a problem.

Ango was always an important part of Buraiha, but...

she doesn't recall him ever showing up in BEAST......

and that thought alone makes her mildly curious, but she won't voice those thoughts aloud. instead, what she says-]

WEEK 4 RECAP (backdated to sunday icly)

Okay, once again it is Recap Sunday!

Again: I'll reiterate that I won't be covering the murder case and things affiliated with it for various reasons - if you want details on that, speak to myself or any of the others who are willing to share that information in private. I also won't be detailing any traps unless they provide clues relevant to the House.

Anyway...

I'll go over the things we saw during the week and then recap what Frisk said afterwards.

So, we have two new vessels: Haku and Flayn. It seems that the current pattern seems to hold, although two vessels is definitely a shock. As for this week's motive... it was, and I quote: "take the life of another, fail to be held accountable for your crime, and you will be freed from this game."

Also, regarding the hallways-- [link] is an update on them for this week. Date also found something over here-- [and another two images referencing that; the first being for the hallways of his week and instead of the empty space being labeled and there being any text with 'brick', it just has an 'X' on it] Please take all of this with a grain of salt, of course, but also keep it in mind for if and and when we have to go inside the house.

Crow and Saphir found some interesting stuff in the labratory-- mostly stuff from the early 1900s: tarot cards, a book on the occult and a book on spiritualism. Apparently, the drawers had a collection of crystals? I'm not familiar with this kind of thing, so someone will have to explain it if they know a little better.

In the smoking lounge, there was a puzzle - it was a pretty simple one based on playing card suits. Once that, once finished, revealed a wall moving over and a staircase sliding down. Which... unfortunately, had a trap. We also got to see Flayn take Seteth's... soul, most likely? With her.

There were also notes that were found there. Three of them in fact. I'll read the first two off, and then read the last one, which also has something else besides the text notable about it.

The first note:

"The handsome man came to visit me today, and made such lovely overtures. I couldn't help but be charmed, and we had a fine time followed up by a delicious meal.

My only regret is that I won't be able to see him again, but what he left behind should surely be memory enough. Now, I will have to hunt for more than just myself."

The second note:

"It has been a while, but life has continued on. I'm expecting, and I've stocked more than enough food and necessities for my children once they arrive. They are all safe, and now, all I must do is wait.

I am so happy..."

As for the third note... it was completely in black, covered with a lot of frantic text like 'no' and 'I hate you' and the like. The back of it said a single shakily written sentence that says: "I won't forgive this."

Also, these notes match the library pages from last week. If anybody wants a recap of those, we can go over them again, but I'll leave them out for this week.

And then there's the last thing, which deals with Ango's journal and the information they found. It seems to deal with barrier-related things and a delivery entrance... and also a phone number, apparently

Anyway, the rest of this recap will deal with information we found on our side of things. We asked Frisk a few quesions, and got some strange answers.

One: None of the SCP reports found around 1922 in the California area are related, so don't bother checking again if you haven't.

Two: Regarding Agent Turner - Erin was his spouse who died in an unrelated mission in 2015, and Turner's group were MIA in March 2000.

Three: Apparently, according to Frisk, Tages went missing before the incident; the last time he was seen by Frisk was on New Year's Eve, 1999. Tages is also noted that he was always smiling, but that it never reached his eyes and that both Frisk and Tages wished for Tages' happiness.

We'll have to wait to hear back for any other questions regarding it... but if anybody does have questions they want to bring up to Frisk, we can compile them for this upcoming week and ask them all at once when we're able.

If there's anything I missed, feel free to bring it up - also feel free to bring up any thoughts and theories and the like, too. You know the drill.

[ Ya know, Wheatley had actually been trying to avoid the whole "vessel" thing. Even after Olympia stopped being the vessel, the fact that each person selected turned into an absolute nightmare under its influence is hitting closer to home than he would have liked.

Ango's ghost is no exception.

Wheatley just stares flabbergasted at the sheer amount of micromanaging going on for the folks on the tape. ]

Wha... Is he- Are they serious?! That kind of scheduling is absolutely mental! How is anyone supposed to keep up with that?! At all!?!

. . . Thank god we're not dealing with that rubbish, directly.

Week 5 - Tuesday

Unless Tages is completely invisible / untraceable, and/or living in the walls, it is extremely likely that "Tages" is one of the remaining agents.

Which means, regardless of Agent Frisk's feelings on the matter, there is no reason to risk a rescue mission.

There are no worthwhile leaders in that house.
