Everyone who was there in some shape or form for the meeting on March 1st gets a notice that soon, the location where they'll have to go to watch what happened in the Winchester Incident will be made available for them. Frisk requests a list of those going to see what happened, but doesn't seem to discourage high numbers.

And shortly before the 30th, those that signed up will finally get a name and place - The Hayes Mansion, only a little bit away by drive from the Winchester House. As they drive, the more magically inclined might be able to sense a powerful barrier emanating from the direction the Winchester House is located, though they'll be unable to see anything.

Arriving there, they'll find that any and all other guests have been removed from the Hotel resort, and there's a sign on the door saying that it is Closed for major renovation and fumigation, which would explain the outfits you were given to be 'seen' walking into the place with, as well as all the vans and 'containers' you were told to put your belongings into.

Once inside, a helpful staff member directs you to put the costumes into a specific bin for collection- unless, of course, you would like to keep wearing them - and then another directs you to the front desk, where a pleasant, yet authoritative man is waiting.

Ah, this is almost a little nostalgic...

[Unsure if in the good way, since investigating a hotel is a thing and a half, but she'll follow along easily enough. Since Karen is asking the questions already, she'll take a look at the surroundings. What's the state of the pump and the pool? Is the room looking okay?]

[ The woman looks up from her task and gives a polite smile. ]

You're our Guests from the Foundation, right? Please don't trouble yourselves over this. It just went a little haywire, but the pool is still suitable for swimming.

[As far as she understands, a water pump can really only either pump water or not pump water.]

[He gives the pool a scan as Karen asks, does it look off?]

I think we're just taking a tour of the place right now. We got permission from the gentleman up front.

[Okay, so... how does the pump look? Haywire? Hayeswired? Wiring off? I'm just going to keep making various wired puns until the truth comes to light. ☆]

[ Nothing will look off with the pool. ]

I hope you have enjoyed your tour so far. [ And hmm ] To be honest, I don't really know. There was a loud sound from some where else, and then this stopped working. I appreciate the offer, but I couldn't trouble any of our dear guests.

What kind of sound? I hope something didn't happen that would mean we had to change our plans.

Would you know the general direction of where the sound came from? Or least your impression.

And it would be no trouble, Miss - in fact, I am quite curious as to the structure, a little look would not harm anyone.

[It sounds like Sherlock at least has the pump itself in hand, if he can ever pry it from the hands of this industrious staffperson, so Aoi is going to move to questioning as well.]

I think it sounded like something dropped? Let me think about where it came from...

[ There's a pause as she look at Sherlock and then the pump. ]

If you're sure you want to take a look at it, sir.

[ She'll allow him a peek.

Just earlier! Though it's not the first time something like this has happened. It just seems to be occurring more often, ma'am.

I'm assuming it doesn't seem possible that it was a part falling off of the pump.

[You know, just doing a sanity check.]

So things are mysteriously falling over...

[He'll take a look. Things falling over... he'll remember what the worker said]

It's a side hobby of mine actually.

[How does it look? Any part looks out of place or wonky?]

[ Nothing seems out of place, but the motor itself looks like it's been overheated. ]

Not just falling over. Furniture have been moved, objects have dropped, lights have been flickering on and off, and sometimes electronics have turned on all by themselves. We thought it was one of the guests here, but it's been a few weeks...

Ah! Now I remember. That sound earlier sounded like it came from some where close to the kitchen.

Maybe it's a ghost? Those all sound like things that would happen in a haunted house.

...Indeed it does seem to point that way.

Oh, by the way - the motor is overheated - I suggest checking the air intake for any blockages.

I believe we might want to take a visit to the Kitchen soon.

While occasionally we do have ghosts that stay with us, none of them have been here long enough for all of the incidences.

[ She will smile at the kitchen visit. ]

That would be good. The chef seems to appreciate having company with him. Lately, he has been acting rather strange.

Perhaps that should be our next stop, then.

[Or not, depending on how this event actually goes and all.]

He's been zoning out at times, and sometimes we've heard sniffling coming from the kitchen. Also, he cried when we gave him a cookbook. We just thought he was happy.

There wasn't anything specific about the cookbook. It was a normal one. We wanted him to feel like he was a part of us.

I don't know why he would be depressed. It did start a few weeks ago...

...is there some reason he wouldn't feel like a part of you? I was under the impression you all just... naturally existed together.
