ROUND 5 WATCHING POST
Everyone who was there in some shape or form for the meeting on March 1st gets a notice that soon, the location where they'll have to go to watch what happened in the Winchester Incident will be made available for them. Frisk requests a list of those going to see what happened, but doesn't seem to discourage high numbers.
And shortly before the 30th, those that signed up will finally get a name and place - The Hayes Mansion, only a little bit away by drive from the Winchester House. As they drive, the more magically inclined might be able to sense a powerful barrier emanating from the direction the Winchester House is located, though they'll be unable to see anything.
Arriving there, they'll find that any and all other guests have been removed from the Hotel resort, and there's a sign on the door saying that it is Closed for major renovation and fumigation, which would explain the outfits you were given to be 'seen' walking into the place with, as well as all the vans and 'containers' you were told to put your belongings into.
Once inside, a helpful staff member directs you to put the costumes into a specific bin for collection- unless, of course, you would like to keep wearing them - and then another directs you to the front desk, where a pleasant, yet authoritative man is waiting.

late that night
although she's rather quiet and just typing away at her laptop before finally taking a deep sigh and speaking up.
it's not in a condescending manner either; there's something tired about her voice, but also...
...worry seeps in, too. because in spite of the peanut gallery commentary that she kind of does, she really does worry.]
... Are you - [she stops herself halfway through her sentence, shaking her head] No, that's a stupid question. I've told the others this before, but I'll repeat it especially for you in particular.
Don't force yourself to watch it if you don't want to.
But also... if you want something to drink, or a conversation partner, or anything else, just let me know.

his eyes, now dark instead of cat yellow, are puffy and red. It might be odd seeing a grown man so shameless in his grief- but he's not really a man at all and he gives no fucks about such things]

That's fine, and I get it.
I don't think I'd be able to not if people important to me - or to the people I care about were on it.
[it's the latter, in Inaba's case, really]
But I will say that if it's too much to take in at once - taking a break is important.
And if you want to share your thoughts with someone... most of us are all ears. I'm willing to give input in return.

Okay, I want to talk something out. Do you know anything about Tages?
no subject
He's an O5 that we're currently looking for so that we don't have to deal with a higher up that is willing to experiment the hell out of us.
From what I know so far - he seems to be a sad person who smiled a lot but was never truly happy; his dream apparently was to find true happiness, somehow. According to Frisk, he disappeared after New Year's in 2000; they also described him as a good negotiator, someone who was good at making friendship bracelets and apparently perfect hair.
Actually... have you seen the dossiers yet? I can grab them if you'd like to see those.
Anyway - my current running theory - take this with a grain of salt, though, is that Tages might be someone from your group. Any thoughts?
no subject
... then it's probably him.
no subject
...who, exactly?
no subject
[He taps the paused screen with a knuckle, indicating someone.
WWX]

Anyway, your reasoning?

Two: when we all first arrived, before we went inside, he was very social. Talking to almost everyone. This would fit with someone deciding who would be fit to be on the mission itself and who would go home.
Three: His powers are almost TOO fitting for what we encountered. If we're going off the idea that the Foundation knew more about the curse then they let on it makes sense that the Agent they picked specifically for this, or the O5 that was interested in it, would be someone with a deep understanding of this kind of power. Also, he was making charms to try and contain the curse- when I mentioned his 'anemia' that was what I was referring to. They're made with his own blood.
Four: The timing of the note. It arrived After Ango became the Vessel.
[Hmm, what could that mean?]
no subject
I know about Ango's ability regarding the fourth thing, but...
Dazai was with him when they saw the note, right? Wouldn't he be able to tell if it's Ango's handwriting...? Nobody ever checked it, right? The handwriting of the notes against other people's?
no subject
I wouldn't know- I couldn't read before now, so I can't tell handwriting apart from memory.

Although they were found after the raccoon and moose incident - or rather, the raccoon lead them to it?
I don't think those two are associated with the miasma, though... Unless they were working with Tages? Or trying to help us by showing us those pages.
Because it's weird the pages were specifically of the ones who were not in the hidden dossiers. Ango isn't a future seer, it seems too specific for it to be him - if he wanted to drop the pages from Tages... wouldn't he have done the ones that hurt the most?
Those six in particular don't make sense to me if we're trying to get into the Vessel's mindset.

[A pained look crosses his face, but he shakes it off]
-he makes the most sense. My second thought was Doctor Roman, but that's mostly just a gut feeling.
no subject
[no past tense, there]
Romani was honestly one of my guesses as well, if only because of his true identity, but Mo also fits.
We'll probably get more information as we go, including his identity... I think we should keep our minds open just in case a curveball is thrown at us.
no subject
[He turns around from the tv, eyeing her.
Don't worry Jess knows spoilers]FGO part one spoilers for people who care
Romani's true identity is Solomon The king of Isreael, the King of Magecraft.
no subject
...wait, does this mean he outranks King Gilgamesh? Heheheh... that makes their relationship come off in a different light...
no subject
Gilgamesh is the sage king - humanity's oldest king, the king of heroes. I couldn't say who outclasses the other, although I would argue that I like Romani better.
Although... I'm kind of surprised that Romani hasn't gone back to being Solomon proper at this rate, considering everything...

He was pretending to have butter sweat as an ability to hide that he could turn back to Solomon at any time... Even I was fooled, because I didn't consider it.
