Week 4
It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.
The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.
Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

[Sometime after the events of the day, Saki will drift over to the common room and lay down on the couch, her arm over her head as she nurses the remainder of her headache. It'll last for one hour after opening the fortune cookie, but between that and using her cantus, having a break away from the noise is nice.
She also might just doze while she's out here. So basically, if you want to take a marker to her face or catch her with a watergun, now's the time.]
[Backyard]
[In the later afternoon, Saki will haul the weapons she received out; for this week, that means a machete and a bow and some arrows. The machete is left to lay forlornly on the ground, but the bow and arrows, those have her interest.
Pity she has no idea how to even use the dang thing. She's facing away from the house, but it might be for naught anyway since she can't even get an arrow nocked properly. Around when it falls for the fifth time is when she lets out a sound of frustration.]
Oh, come on!
[Ugh. She knew Nora's idea was bad all along, this is totally useless--]
[Hot Tub]
[Sometime after dinner, in her usual white two piece, Saki wanders out with a bath bomb in hand and a somewhat uncertain expression. It seems she's debating whether or not to actually try the thing out.]
We don't exactly have baths here, but...
[Maybe a hot tub is close enough??]
backyard
You're doing it wrong.

She's scowling, part from frustration with her failed attempts and part because now he's got a machete. This is not what she wanted at all.]
I know that. And put that down!
no subject
Let me show you.
[ Holding out his hand. ]
no subject
Give me back the blade, first.
[She does not know the word machete. Still, it looks like we're back to keep away again.]

She doesn't even have the arrow in hand at this point, so she just pulls the bow close, like she's been caught doing wrong.]
I just--
[Ughhhh. She doesn't really want to admit to it, but there's no other way to explain it well.]
Nora said something about trying to make weapons useful even if they're weapons, so I thought that maybe arrows could be useful but-
Ugh, this was stupid.
[In summary: she has no idea what she's doing.]

[Her voice is frustrated and a little forlorn.]
--I'm probably just not suited to it. I don't know why I'm even bothering.

hot tub
Inaba peers at Saki with quite a bit of curiosity ]
Are you actually going to do it, Saki?
no subject
[Hmmm. Looking at bath bomb. And then at hot tub. And then to Inaba.]
Do you think it would work?
no subject
[ which is largely unhelpful for bath bombs. ]
And maybe? I mean, hot tubs are usually really hot though-- around 40 Celsius or so?

[She
has never used one of these things in her life.]

...
Well, she wants to talk to her, but that seems like a bad idea with her voice all squeaky like this. So instead she's just kind of existing in her vicinity.]

Oh. That's Karen.]

But of course, Saki is also outside, doing... something.
Silver peers over the edge of the empty pool, squinting]

She looks over. Why is Silver in the empty pool??]

backyard ofc
[Oh great, it's Nora. Why this. Because their last attempt at teaching or really doing anything together other than arguing really went swimmingly. He's wandered over from his usual perch on the first floor roof because there are a few unusual things occurring:
A. Saki with a weapon
B. Saki with TWO weapons, and neither of them are destroyed???
C. Why is she doing archery in the middle of the backyard without a target.....
He's totally swiping the arrow, also.]
no subject
You're the one who said weapons could be useful for something else!
[She's completely let her... "stance" fall, however.]
no subject
That's just usin' a weapon as a weapon? Did ya ever even use a bow before??
[Just going to reach over to try and nab the bow itself. He's not a patient dog and he's curious; hand projectile weapon to dog Y/N??]
no subject
[Ugh. She's hugging the bow close to her body, however.]
If you want it to get any use, you have to teach me.
