Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

The arm you hold the bow with... you have to kind of bend it away.

... why are you doing that anyway.

[Er...

She looks away, because this is frankly embarrassing for her.]

Nora said weapons can be useful for other things, so...

[iblistriggered]

Oh yeah? Well, you can send messages long distances with arrows. Or set fires from afar. Or ropes!

[allmyfriendsaredead]

Messages... that's a good idea.

[She didn't really??? Think this through, actually.]

I know I can't always rely on my cantus, so if I could use this instead...

[iblistriggered]

Yeah. You can wrap a note around the shaft of the arrow, you know? then-- [Silver mimes firing an arrow] Pew!

...First I need to figure out how to get the arrow to actually stay, though.

[Why are ancient tools like this...]

[iblistriggered]

[Silver grumbles and retreats into the empty pool for a moment. He drops some stuff down in it, then climbs out]

Here. Look. On the back of the arrow, there's a little notch, see? You put that on the bowstring.

[She looks at it, awkwardly finagling until the string is set into the notch.]

Oh...

[That solves that.]
