Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

Ha, are ya trying to do archery or just stabbin' the ground??

[Oh great, it's Nora. Why this. Because their last attempt at teaching or really doing anything together other than arguing really went swimmingly. He's wandered over from his usual perch on the first floor roof because there are a few unusual things occurring:

A. Saki with a weapon

B. Saki with TWO weapons, and neither of them are destroyed???

C. Why is she doing archery in the middle of the backyard without a target.....

He's totally swiping the arrow, also.]

[Truly, this is the worst possible outcome.]

You're the one who said weapons could be useful for something else!

[She's completely let her... "stance" fall, however.]

[He just. Stares for a moment and then snorts.]

That's just usin' a weapon as a weapon? Did ya ever even use a bow before??

[Just going to reach over to try and nab the bow itself. He's not a patient dog and he's curious; hand projectile weapon to dog Y/N??]

What else are you supposed to use bows for besides shooting...

[Ugh. She's hugging the bow close to her body, however.]

[Yes, of course that's his first train of thought when it comes to alternative uses for weaponry?? But also.]

An' I guess with these things you could use 'em as a way to reach high places or swing around or whatever? [or it's possible he's watched too much TV but there's a tilt of the head before he grumbles and moves over to squint at the bow] I thought I already told you I suck at teaching and stuff. But fine, you can have this back and then I'll just be over here.

[Shoves the arrow at her. You have gained one (1) dog peanut gallery. You will probably have regrets about this.]

Reach high places? Hey, what do you mean by that?

[She'll take the arrow back, but that bit definitely sounds the most useful.]

I mean? If you've got rope or string or something you can tie it to the arrow and then shoot it places?? I guess it doesn't matter if you've got your powers...

[But if she doesn't have her powers it's not exactly a bad way to go. Just depends if the rope is sturdy enough, and considering his experiences with trapmaking in this particular House he's got some mileage on that front.

Nora's going to immediately nudge at her to move the arrow?? Stop dropping it, Saki, the arrow's supposed to actually point to something.]

But you gotta actually have a bow and arrows first instead of just a bow and waving the arrow around!

[She might not always have her powers. It's a problem she's only too aware of these days.]

And how am I supposed to do that? It won't stay!

How the hell is it not stayin', the arrow always stays when they draw it in the movies. And when the guys in the army use it, I guess??

[That seems less certain than when he was nattering about the movies. Welp. Nora just shrugs to himself and then eyes the scattered mess of what she's doing with everything. Hmmmmm.]

Ugh, fine, look. Try it again and I'll see what you're doing to that thing.

[He's seriously 1000% a hands-on dog, making him do this from the sidelines was a mistake.]

[She sighs and tries it again. Upon a closer examination, she's got the bow at a bit of an angle, causing the arrow to slide off instead of remaining nocked.]

[Of course he just barks at her like a drill sergeant. Who do you think he learned all his weapons skills from.]
