Week 4
It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.
The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.
Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

Um.
. . . No? Why?

It's just something I think about when I see stars like this. ...Or things like stars, I guess.
[Ahaha...]
It's something I did once with my friends when we were out on summer camp. A... friend I had a crush on gave me some advice about it, and for some reason I held onto it all these years.
[Even when she couldn't remember him anymore.]

[ she's never really been to one.
the only summer camp she's heard about was... not really good. ]
It sounds like fun, though.

It was... actually pretty harrowing. But before any of the bad things happened, we had fun being out on our own.
[She closes her eyes briefly in memory of it, feeling the warmth of the hot tub sink into her bones.]
"Don’t look at the fire. That’s the number one rule to night canoeing. You have to get your eyes adjusted to the dark as soon as possible or you won’t be able to see anything.”
It was such a simple thing, but it's still really precious to me.

Guess there's no escaping shitty summer camps, huh.
[ not that she's ever been to one but. ]
I guess that makes sense, though.

[Understatement.]
