WEEK 5 MINGLE - AMARANTHUS
Another trial, another horrible outcome.
This time, it affected so many people...and yet, they still weren't done.
Who would be killed next?
Would they be able...to handle whatever happened?🗈
This time, it affected so many people...and yet, they still weren't done.
Who would be killed next?
Would they be able...to handle whatever happened?🗈
Still, things were just the same as they had been the past few weeks.
The goats and servants were still around, and so too were the witches.
It was all becoming routine at this point.
Was that a good thing, or a bad one...?
It was...too hard to tell, now...
...Either way, they were now closer to the end.
So, like always...they had to see it through.

SUDDEN KARAOKE DANCE BATTLE PARTY (+ GAMES)
Those who step up to investigate will find a very pink Infernal and a very red robot engaged in what looks like an intense battle of DDR. There's a whole setup going on, dance machines and karaoke machines and all manner of things, as though they plan to be at this for a while.
There's no real explanation for why the hell this is happening, since everyone there is busy at the moment. Gebura's seven stakes seem to be dressed to the nines just like herself, and have taken to squabbling over the karaoke in the background. That also means that the running music keeps changing every few minutes, but that apparently doesn't deter the dance battle?
Those who drift in may use some of the free machines for dance or karaoke, start up their own games, or perhaps help themselves to the food steadily piling up on the tables. Somebody keeps requesting more food, and it ain't the dancers. Meanwhile, the Stakes themselves sometimes break off to look for guests they want to invite to the spontaneously growing party. It's a good night for drinking and revelry, after all -- considering tomorrow.]

Parties, especially ones as loud as this one would be isn't his cup of tea, but it probably is a good thing to see everyone before the night ends. He listens attentively to the music Gebura and Anon are battling too, before starting to play long for a measure to test if he tuned the instrument correctly, nodding in satisfaction before sitting down with the violin in reach, and drink in hand]

Later on, it's karaoke time!
The first time it's her turn, she picks out a Beatles song she already knows, which brings back some nice memories, though it sounds a little funny coming from her.
The next time, though, she finds a new song that seems to be made for her voice -- she listens to it on headphones during someone else's turn first to get the tune down, and then stands up to sing. ]

The blue robot tells the stakes to hold off for a bit so he can get appropriately dressed... And arrives wearing a clip-on tie attached to a shirt collar around his neck and a party hat. NOW he is ready to party.
First off, he decides to go test his skill with karaoke and sing something BEAUTIFUL. There's just two problems with this plan.
One: His impressively human-like voicebank wasn't programmed for singing.
Two: He sounds a bit tone deaf anyway.
When you combine those issues together, you end up with vocals that sound like someone copied and pasted different snippets of audio together and didn't bother to autotune the results properly. Make of it what you will.
When he's done butchering iconic songs like this, he'll be staring at all the food that's accumulated on the tables.]
... Wow. I... That is a lot of food. Are we all gonna be able to eat all that? Collectively? 'Coz I'm starting to get reminded of that cake SCP here...

Someone will have had to, again, encourage her to do this, but she has a surprisingly good voice for karaoke. Really, it's very soothing to listen to, even if she misses a few notes and stumbles over her words a few times. ]

Re: SUDDEN KARAOKE DANCE BATTLE PARTY (+ GAMES)
She spends a good bit of time with the Stakes, actually, both glad to finally have some other demon girls around and concerned about their potential for causing havoc. This leads directly into her singing something perhaps-weirdly hopeful and encouraging.]

[Minutes later, she re-arrives holding an unopened bottle of liquor she might as well re-gift and a blue and white ensemble consisting of this thing and a denim skirt over a frilly blouse and striped tights in what my childhood memories assure me is the height of 1994 adolescent fashion. She's even put on obvious makeup and lipstick, atypically. She might be dead in the morning and she might as well show off a bit if she can party right before it.]
[Naturally, she spends most of her time on the DDR machines, having gotten used to the quirks between those and "real" dancing in the last couple of weeks. Come challenge the quasi-professional, if you dare. And actually, as things get later, she remembers this is the ballroom and does some freestyle moves on the floor rather than relying on the machines. Still heavily ballet-inspired, but she's goofing around and having fun.]
[She's not going to voluntarily do karaoke, but if her pointed-toe gyrations are an insufficient musical offering, you can bug her.]

This includes karaoke, of course. You'll often find him in front of the machine in between things, though, murmuring the songs to himself; it's not like he knows most of the music on here, after all. Whenever he does decide to practice for real or to get his groove on, you'll find that he's got a decent singing voice and a penchant for dramatic music, apparently. That being said, he's pretty flexible on repertoire, though he might end up humming some lyrics on songs he doesn't recognize.
Otherwise: he mostly seems to be picking at the food table, and eventually leaves the thing of tequila there. It's barely touched and still has a worm in it.]

They're just. Also clearly not paying attention to the lyrics and are making up their own as they go.
They also seem to be wearing some of Gebura's suits now, with each wearing their own unique suit, though of them also has a red armband with a large G emblazoned on it on their right arm.
If you want to talk to Gebura, you can probably catch her between DDR rounds, at least.]
