WEEK 5 MINGLE - AMARANTHUS

Another trial, another horrible outcome.

This time, it affected so many people...and yet, they still weren't done.
Who would be killed next?
Would they be able...to handle whatever happened?🗈

Still, things were just the same as they had been the past few weeks.

The goats and servants were still around, and so too were the witches.
It was all becoming routine at this point.
Was that a good thing, or a bad one...?
It was...too hard to tell, now...

...Either way, they were now closer to the end.
So, like always...they had to see it through.

[ pipes up from the corner ]

Servants exist in a place called the Throne of Heroes...when they're summoned, they take on a semi-physical form, but existing in the Throne means they'll always be spirit beings. And to be in the Throne of Heroes, you have to have died.

[ or not be born yet, in Merlin's case ]

That's the simple version of the explanation, at least.

[He nods in confirmation]

More or less correct, to go in depth means getting more into detail about specifics of magecraft and how magic works on our world, and no one came here for a lecture.

Ah, so they're summoned, which gives them a body. That makes a lot more sense, actually.

[Sakura is good at explaining things, as usual. He gives her a little thumbs up.]

So all Servants are actually dead.

There are the rare exceptions, but yes.
