WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

Umm... but does that make us the routes then..? Characters like plain old me's route aren't people's first choice to play in dating sim. Most go for the more flashy peoples routes...

I wouldn't say my route would be that remotely interesting, either... not to mention that we don't know if this is a BL game or a galge.

Maybe we'd be tutorial npcs or side characters then? Although yeah, we do have enough boys here for a BL game... but the same can be said for girls too.... or maybe we're just the gay option route or platonic best friend route.

So you're saying He's suppose to date interesting people here, but how are you to suppose to tell?

[She doesn't actually play a lot of dating sims, so the protagonist usually being plain is kind of lost on her.]

Well, most dating sim protagonists are pretty plain. They're supposed to be easy to identify with, so you can feel like it's really you dating all the cute boys or girls.

[A hum. Around her level of plainness maybe?]

However, I don't think Atsushi-kun is anywhere near that plain... so he'd be one of the rare protagonists with more of a solid character.

I guess that makes sense... But I thought he was pretty low-key compared to a lot of the people here, I mean. Have you seen my neighbor, or the... seventh-grade syndrome people?

[There are so many of those, goodness. And also yeah, she is absolutely self-aware of her flashiness, but she's never really considered dating sim routes for herself at all. Not seriously.]
