Intro log: Welcome to The Resort!

Before you even open your eyes, you can tell something is not right. It's cold. Not quite unbearably so, but cold enough that you can take notice of it. And as soon as you open your eyes, you will be able to see why it's so cold: you're in the middle of a snowy forest, with only a single two-lane road cutting through the thick trees.
Unfortunately, you seem to be without transportation. Fortunately, you are wearing warm clothes and snow gear, so freezing isn't an immediate problem. But without transportation, you're in for a long walk ahead of you.
There are others around as well. Other people, just as lost and confused as you are. Everyone seems to be lacking any memory that might explain why everyone is here. As far as anyone knows, all of you were just ripped out of your previous lives and dumped here on this snowy road, wearing snow gear and having any items that are important to you already on hand. And for some of you, you even have a new power, one that you somehow instantly know how to use...
Two ways to go: forward and back. Despite having no indication of which way is the 'right' way, you feel drawn towards one direction in particular. Going 'back' is possible, but you get the feeling that you will be even more lost if you try. And given that you have no food or water on you, it's best to keep moving forward.
So, are you ready to walk? Because you have a long road ahead of you.
((Welcome to The Resort! Your characters will have any objects or animals with them that they should have given their canon point, but are dressed in cold weather clothing.
This prompt is just the first part of the intro log. New top-levels will go up over the course of the weekend as everyone progresses from 'where the hell am I?' to the resort proper, and to getting settled in. For now, just start with this prompt. We'll link further updates here for easy access.))

Still, a delayed response is still a response, and eventually he raises his hands in fists, surprised as he utters:]
Eh?
EHHHH?!
[Very useful start over here.]
no subject
What's the punchline? Who knows.
Minato just kind of blinks. And:]
...Yeah, I think that sums it up.
no subject
At least he seems to rapidly be calming after the initial surprise?]
That's weird. I don't remember starting up a VR game before falling asleep...
[But now he's looking a bit more intently, almost like there's something to focus on in the air that's not just. Snow. And trees. And air.]
no subject
... Are you actually awake...?
no subject
[That one's outright chipper.]
...This does look weird, though. It's like... repeating numbers?
[Never seen a case like that before!]
Maybe it really is VR.
no subject
[Hm...?]
Sorry, how do you mean...?

[ Seriously, what other reaction did you expect by yelling in the middle of a group of people? ]
no subject
[This is not a boke and tsukkomi act, Nanashi.]
--Oh. Sorry. That's not shutting up, is it?
no subject
[ Kohaku doesn't look any less grumpy for it though. ]
no subject
[Because he can do that!]
no subject
[ Kohaku guesses not, judging by that surprise scream, but... pretty much any input about the situation would be appreciated at this point. ]

S-so pure! A reaction like that.... it's so- so- moe!
[Sorry, but Tsumugi is now mentally ticking off characters Yoshi could totally pull off a cosplay of. His hair and eyes are the right shade for an Akise Aru cosplay, but the demeanor would need work...? Perhaps a Shion cosplay, but that would need contact lenses... Or wait! Jieun from Dandelion would be a perfect fit with the rabbit motif this guy has going on... but that brings back the problem of contact lenses for red eyes.]
no subject
[Then again he does look (and is) pretty defenseless...]
no subject
[Don't be a quitter Yoshi. Be the moe to pierce the heavens!]
no subject
[Still cheerfully, though.]
I don't really have enough friends to star in a slice of life series.
no subject
[Being the protagonist of your own story.]
It could be a show about making friends, like Haganai: I Don't Have Many Friends then!

You too, huh. We all seem to be the same boat, at least.
no subject
Is it a boat when you're suddenly out in the middle of the snow?
[This is????? A lot????????]
no subject
Haha... alright. Maybe it's more like a ship, then. [He takes a glance around.] But it could get even bigger than that if we don't get moving soon. I don't really want to find out how cold it gets when the sun sets.
no subject
That could be bad!
[But as he looks around, it's all so...
Wait. Huh? His eyes fix on something in the distance, though there won't appear to be anything there to Rean.]
no subject
...Did you manage to find something?

Yeah, pretty much! [But... Hm.] That doesn't really sound like a 'I definitely know what's going on' kind of eh.
no subject
[It's kind of distressing?!! Though he is calming a bit now.]
no subject
[He sounds surprised by that, but it takes a moment for him to elaborate.]
Sorry, that's just normally my line. I guess that's not important right now. [...] You don't remember coming here?
