Intro log: Welcome to The Resort!

Before you even open your eyes, you can tell something is not right. It's cold. Not quite unbearably so, but cold enough that you can take notice of it. And as soon as you open your eyes, you will be able to see why it's so cold: you're in the middle of a snowy forest, with only a single two-lane road cutting through the thick trees.
Unfortunately, you seem to be without transportation. Fortunately, you are wearing warm clothes and snow gear, so freezing isn't an immediate problem. But without transportation, you're in for a long walk ahead of you.
There are others around as well. Other people, just as lost and confused as you are. Everyone seems to be lacking any memory that might explain why everyone is here. As far as anyone knows, all of you were just ripped out of your previous lives and dumped here on this snowy road, wearing snow gear and having any items that are important to you already on hand. And for some of you, you even have a new power, one that you somehow instantly know how to use...
Two ways to go: forward and back. Despite having no indication of which way is the 'right' way, you feel drawn towards one direction in particular. Going 'back' is possible, but you get the feeling that you will be even more lost if you try. And given that you have no food or water on you, it's best to keep moving forward.
So, are you ready to walk? Because you have a long road ahead of you.
((Welcome to The Resort! Your characters will have any objects or animals with them that they should have given their canon point, but are dressed in cold weather clothing.
This prompt is just the first part of the intro log. New top-levels will go up over the course of the weekend as everyone progresses from 'where the hell am I?' to the resort proper, and to getting settled in. For now, just start with this prompt. We'll link further updates here for easy access.))

[The important stuff.]
The other numbers are probably things like your thoughts and feelings, but that's harder to convert.
no subject
[... oh my god.]
... I see... [It's not the weirdest thing he's ever heard of, but... it's still pretty weird.]
You say that so cheerfully, too...
no subject
People usually tell me I'm weird. This is also the first time I've spoken to someone besides my big bro in months.
[His socializing stat probably took a critical hit.]
no subject
Oh, I see.
[...]
Let's start over then. [AHEM.] Hello. My name is Minato. Nice to meet you.
no subject
[He sounds. So chipper.]
no subject
... Maybe Nanase-kun to start, then.
[YEAH.]
no subject
[He's clearly fine with all of this.]
Is Minato okay? Or should I use a honorific, too?
no subject
[He's pretty easy.
Anyway.]
So... Nanase-kun...
[...]
...Are you sure you're really okay with those names you said people call you?
no subject
[It's evident in his voice. He... really seems to believe this.]
no subject
....MOVING RIGHT ALONG.]
I guess it's good to keep an open mind, though... [....WELL. He shivers.]
Maybe we should find shelter first. [Before he tackles the issues inherent in that statement.]
no subject
Probably... I'm still not sure what those numbers are about, but maybe there's still someplace we can find to stay?
no subject
[THEY, ON THE OTHER HAND, are getting very cold.]
At least we're on a path, I guess.
no subject
[He points.]
no subject
[Shrug.]
Let's go.
no subject
[Which is good because it's not the way that causes repeating.
Yoshi's not going to last long before he starts to flag, though.]
no subject
He slows down, tilting his head.]
Getting tired...? We've been walking awhile. [Ish.]
no subject
I haven't walked this far in a long time...
no subject
It's okay. We can take a breather if you need it. Let's stop up here at these logs.
no subject
Thanks! Guess I should've known getting too far would be impossible for a shut-in like me.
[Ah
Yes. He is in fact one of those.]
no subject
[RIGHT TO THE POINT WITH THAT ONE.]
Well, you're handling it very well. I'm rooting for you.
[Too bad this is all said so blandly.]
no subject
[He's heard much worse!!]
Kind of inconvenient right now, though...
no subject
[He can't deny that, but...]
I suppose it might be a good learning opportunity, if you look at it that way.
no subject
[That does sound nice.]
no subject
[So...!!]
Now's a good time to work on improving as a person.
no subject
[Garbage and all.]
