WEEK 4 MINGLE

The weekend that just passed was....frankly, a lot. Yet despite all odds, you somehow pulled out a win from the jaws of utter defeat. As you wake up feeling tired but happy, the speakers crackle to life with the voice of The Lady.
"Attention, Guests. This week, The game is temporarily suspended. This week, there will be no mafia kill. Take a break for your hard work."
And...indeed, it seems like this is a peace week. The Staff, after the disappearance of The Captain, are acting worse than they did last week - not only is there the blankness and the stuttering, but sometimes they even get orders wrong, with potentially hazardous results. Asking the Staff for things has become more dangerous and unreliable, but at least you meals are still good. Speaking of, The Chef has put a sign up on the door, reading "DO NOT TAKE KNIVES WITHOUT ASKING FIRST!! THAT MEANS YOU!!" written in big, angry letters. The resort also seems to be gearing up for Christmas - there are lights and trees scattered around the place, as well as mistletoe for couples to get their public displays of affection on. There's also some other holiday decorations around, for Kwanzaa and....something else you definitely have never seen before. The thing....wriggles, and you don't want to be around it for long.
The weather is still nothing, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Are you getting closer to the truth of this place, maybe? It's hard to say.

Speaking of monsters... I mean, the Barghest was talking about a lot of culty stuff. So if something changed, it might be because of the dark god they were talking about? I mean, that is basically what happened back home. ...and my dad did actually get a few people from the place where the cult was to come over to our side, but I don’t think Tharja and Henry were as devoted to the whole “summon the dark dragon god to destroy humanity and overrun the world with the undead” thing as the Barghest seemed to be. So I guess it all depends on how committed the Jorogumo and the Doppelganger are to this whole dark god thing.

[She trusts Cynthia's fighting skills, though.]
We won't be able to tell their motives unless we...you know, ask them. And I don't know if Cinque or whoever the Jorogumo is being possessed by would be willing to speak on those parts.
[A pause.]
The...god I spoke to said he'd like to talk to me again, if we escaped. Do you think that's to be trusted?

...and hmm. I mean, the only horrible dark god I have experience with is prooobably not too trustworthy? But I dunno if that’s all dark gods.

I'd think that most gods that would identify themselves as "dark gods" would be untrustworthy. But the only thing this god described himself to be is fond of dogs.
[He should write up a dating profile or something, Snake might appreciate it.]

That's right. And I also won't make any moves against him while Jojo is still around.
[ A beat. ]
But I would like to hit him super duper hard for hurting Appy and the Resort.

I can work with any kind of blade or firearm, though I love knives and dislike swords. I've fought humans, both one-on-one and in large scale raids alongside a rebel group. I'm experienced fighting zombies as well, largely long range as their blood could infect me and cost me my life.
The vents are narrow and that's not my specialty, but I've only survived this long because I'm adaptable. I'll figure out how to be violent against anything, that's my strong spot. [ He grins at that. ]
However, I'm not going in there without a good plan and support group. Taking risks is one thing, but throwing my life away is another.

We aren't into the dark god thing.
