WEEK 4

The weekend that just passed was....frankly, a lot. Yet despite all odds, you somehow pulled out a win from the jaws of utter defeat. As you wake up feeling tired but happy, the speakers crackle to life with the voice of The Lady.

"Attention, Guests. This week, The game is temporarily suspended. This week, there will be no mafia kill. Take a break for your hard work."

And...indeed, it seems like this is a peace week. The Staff, after the disappearance of The Captain, are acting worse than they did last week - not only is there the blankness and the stuttering, but sometimes they even get orders wrong, with potentially hazardous results. Asking the Staff for things has become more dangerous and unreliable, but at least you meals are still good. Speaking of, The Chef has put a sign up on the door, reading "DO NOT TAKE KNIVES WITHOUT ASKING FIRST!! THAT MEANS YOU!!" written in big, angry letters. The resort also seems to be gearing up for Christmas - there are lights and trees scattered around the place, as well as mistletoe for couples to get their public displays of affection on. There's also some other holiday decorations around, for Kwanzaa and....something else you definitely have never seen before. The thing....wriggles, and you don't want to be around it for long.

The weather is still nothing, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Are you getting closer to the truth of this place, maybe? It's hard to say.

[Gossip spreads quickly with Medic's flocks, and the news of a raccoon reached him not long after the moose situation. So there's now a ghost chilling around the pool, keeping an eye out for any raccoons.

It's been at least a year since he's seen Soldier and his gigantic pack of raccoons and he's feeling a little homesick for the little mad bastards, sue him.]

[The legend of Spice Block slowly spreads through the entire resort and don't mind me, I'm just here because I can't pass this up. Or rather, Blue Angel is. She's been wandering around with her nose in a book or two or three for the better part of today and has run into all manner of things.

She really shouldn't do this while mistletoe or raccoons or afoot.

But look, plants and butter critters don't dictate her life. How is our seasoning friend this fine winter season?]

[The catventures provided a bit of a distraction yesterday, but Atsushi is irritated. And has been for a couple days. Something has been brewing and making him a bit snappish, and it's finally coming to a head.

Or, well. It's enough that he's finally going to talk about it, even if he hates talking in public.

So on Wednesday morning, he's going to stand up in a chair in the dining roon and just. Say something to everyone in there eating lunch.]

Three things!

One: Yes, I turn into a tiger. Yes, it's dangerous. And yes, I know the full moon is coming up, which is the most dangerous time of the month for me. But I'm fine, you don't have to go hurrying around behind my back like I'm some- some bomb that's about to explode or something!

Two: If you're going to get aggressive at me or treat me differently because of it, please don't. This isn't something new for me, I know how to handle it.

suddenly a plate of food that is floating and is going to zoom quickly out of the dining area with the plate, bye!!]

[Ripley pauses mid-chew, raising her eyebrow and placing her fork on her plate. This seemed to be unprompted, but...then again, she doesn't know what's been going on with Atsushi.

Well. This would explain several things about him over the past few weeks.]

[He stops in mid-bite, swallowing as he listens. Atsushi sounds furious, and he kind of can't blame him?]

Geez... If they're worried, shouldn't they actually talk to you...?

Sounds similar to a werewolf. Except for the fact you turn into a tiger instead. [her response is fairly casual because she knows people similar to that and because being a vampire, she knows how that is with people treating her different or acting hostile towards her]

[Snake doesn't even have disbelief about any of this shit anymore this is just how things are now.]

[There is a slight raise of eyebrows and a pause as Tsumugi waits for his third point.]

... You forgot the third thing, Atsushi-kun.

[There's a hint of amusement in her voice at that. Tsumugi doesn't seem that affected by this revelation at this point. She's seen a lot of strange things here, so turning into a tiger is pretty tame.]

[She'll keep quiet while he does his little speech -- she seems attentive, if tired and kind of stressed out, and she's been more or less staring at her food more than eating it -- but once Atsushi is all done, Blue Angel will wait for an opportunity to talk to him when he isn't being swarmed.]

Are you sure you'll be okay, Nakajima-kun? I don't really understand your transformation... But I think there was a third thing. I heard about it from Inaba-san.

[She only really knows much about the partial transformation, and she's leaving it up to him if he wants to go further into detail about the issue.]

the good news is i know where he is!

the bad news is it's because the outsider has him

he's a piece of petoskey stone that can infect people by touch? the outsider has the piece in a box and says it might infect the whole resort if he gives it to the staff to give to us

so if we want to talk to sol we have to do something about that :/
