[Of course, Undyne can't be there to tell everyone to stay in. Perhaps they'd be allowed to roam around, unlike all the other times...

...Or, so one might think.

The Innkeeper suddenly goes gray and vanishes, just as a gray being walks into the Inn. Everyone - regardless if they are awake or not - are suddenly wide awake, and dragged out by a mysterious force to the lobby to see the gray being. Those outside investigating are also dragged in once they're done, legs moving without their input.

It is indistinct, with what looks like a cloud of....glitches? obscuring it's face. When it speaks, it is with a distorted, screechy voice.]

[It stops, as if it is taking a breath...or the puppetmaster is learning how to more easily control it.]

We've lost more monsters today. I cannot say for certain how many, but at the very least, both the stores in town are empty.

Okay so the idea so far is that when the trial starts we attempt to leave. If the Entity or monsters stop us we try and break the script by setting up a fake killer/case. I'll volunteered to play scapegoat but I'm willing to take other options. Our theory is one of our past culprits or victims would be best.

Any objections? Also we should try and plan what to do if we DO break through to the Entity again.

I do think we should try to figure out who did it first. It may be playing in to the script, but we need to find them in case they are taken over again.

I was more or less for the leaving plan if we attempted to leave once we have our answer. Otherwise our words may fall on deaf ears without a single attempt to show for it.

I will still try to discern what happened if just so we avoid falling into a trap - but otherwise, I'll play the devil's advocate - it'd be suspicious if I just take your word for it.
