[CONTINUE + 4] Week 1 || act: investigate
[Everything is still, silent, and dark - just like it should be.
But there is still, undeniably...
a feeling of foreboding.
You know what this is.
One of your own...has perished.
At the hands of one of you.]
((One person only in each spot, please!))

If it has over someone new every week, then chances are that it has followed that same pattern this week as well. So if we choose someone that has already been a victim of its possession, then there's less of a chance that we'll accidentally get the right culprit.

The announcement did kind of remind him of how something else too and he's back to scowling. ]

[he looks at each of the party in turn]
I know in my "game" there was a big twist because some information was hidden even from the player. If a story is what they want, sometimes you gotta kick down the conventions, right?
Of course I'm probably just insane and talking to thin air. But it's something to think about.

So if this is really a "game" to them, shouldn't they be trying to win with us, too?

[ ......admittedly Gilgamesh hadn't thought much of the narrating or whatever it was because there was A Lot to focus on. ]

But there has always been some form of ruler in the trials, right? [ his memory is so fuzzy, after all... ] So if we can explain the situation to them, then perhaps we may be allowed to leave early.
