Week 0 || ACT: ATTEND

["We will tell you later," they had said. "We need to gather more information." Defer until later, let others investigate.

Truthfully, they had been hoping a solution would materialize on its own. That calling in a team for assistance wouldn't be needed. But time has passed, and the silence has only stretched on longer.

So, when the email comes, telling everyone of an important meeting, it might not be a surprise. After all, this conversation is one that has been a long time coming.

The two who have called the meeting- Solomon and Frisk- have prepared a meeting room for this occasion. It is set up not unlike a lecture hall, with several rows of chairs facing a whiteboard and projector screen. The two O5s are at the front, with Frisk going through one final check to make sure everything is working while Solomon watches. Both will nod to the arrivals, but neither will speak to them.

Once the last few who are coming have found their seats, Solomon will clear his throat to gather everyone's attention.

[Frisk is there, doing the tech things! They click a clicker to show a map of Oregon, along with the location of Mt. Ebott. It's deep within a mountain range, far away from any towns.]

We didn't want to send a whole team in, as getting into Mt. Ebott requires stealth. And as much as I appreciate you guys, stealth isn't your strong suit. But we're at a point now where we can't really send anyone else. Other attempts at reconnaissance have ended either with dead bodies or agents getting turned back without any memory of what had happened.

Long story short, we need you guys to go in there for us. We don't know if those two are even alive still, but we're hopeful. Plan A is 'rescue mission', Plan B is 'take out whatever took them out'.

For what it's worth, I've worked with Red for years and I have complete faith in her ability to survive. That's why 'rescue' is Plan A here. She's good at bunkering down and staying unnoticed if a situation is dangerous. Tracking her down might be difficult, but I fully expect you will find her alive.

... you're probably right. Her managing everything from her home and the Camp- she wouldn't die this easily. But I mean it- if's she's dead and I survive whatever got her, I'm not stopping there.

Also there are some of us who are somewhat decent at stealth so don't count us all out yet. [Like hello??? But also questions-] But maybe we should get more information first - I want to know 'why stealth is necessary in the first place' as well as 'what kind of recon are we talking about here' before I have any further questions.

[Frisk is the one with the information on this part, so they speak up first:]

Mt. Ebott is a remote mountain that is considered too dangerous to summit. Hikers are warned away from it, and even going into the foothills can be dangerous.

But in reality, Mt. Ebott is hollow. Solomon dug it out over 2,000 years ago and made it into the Underground, which is where most of the monsters in the world live now. You can't just walk in and announce your presence.

So basically it's going to be like that, huh. That doesn't explain why those two were sent in the first place - was it just a simple "looksee" thing? I know we're going on a rescue mission [again] but I would at least like some more information as to why the hell they were sent in the first place and not be left in the dark entirely.

I have tried to use my clairvoyance to See their location and their situation multiple times since my arrival...but all I receive is darkness. It is like looking into an endless pit and that is what worries me the most.

He had no questions 'so far' at this time, letting the others ask them as he took a sip. Though he may have let out a chuckle at 'rescue mission', as if finding the idea incredulous. ]
