Week 0 || ACT: ATTEND
["We will tell you later," they had said. "We need to gather more information." Defer until later, let others investigate.
Truthfully, they had been hoping a solution would materialize on its own. That calling in a team for assistance wouldn't be needed. But time has passed, and the silence has only stretched on longer.
So, when the email comes, telling everyone of an important meeting, it might not be a surprise. After all, this conversation is one that has been a long time coming.
The two who have called the meeting- Solomon and Frisk- have prepared a meeting room for this occasion. It is set up not unlike a lecture hall, with several rows of chairs facing a whiteboard and projector screen. The two O5s are at the front, with Frisk going through one final check to make sure everything is working while Solomon watches. Both will nod to the arrivals, but neither will speak to them.
Once the last few who are coming have found their seats, Solomon will clear his throat to gather everyone's attention.
It is time.]

[Grinning just as pleasantly back and his tone is perfectly polite, his words themselves are barbed but Solomon can take them how he likes, because the barbs aren't directed at him -- or not solely at him, anyways.

I wouldn't call this my home, but it's a pretty acceptable vacation home in the meantime. You're all really rather bad at not being doomed at any given point on the timeline, though. You know that? [there's something almost like a sigh in his voice, maybe he read up a bit but after the 2nd or 3rd world-ending-maybe threat-slash-murder party you kind of start putting down bookmarks] And frankly, I plan to keep doing this my own way.
If this world has to end on another harebrained mission of yours, then let it end.

The world has almost ended hundreds of times, and each time we have worked behind the scenes to stop it. This will be no different, whether or not you participate.

There's a thoughtful hum at the end of everything, because while that isn't new, the Foundation's purported solution is (or inasmuch as this solution can be, as they've more or less established). But does that really change anything, at the end of the day?
The contemplation filters through to his grin, still just as pleasant and somewhat plastic as you might expect.]
Sure. I assume this 'we' includes everyone you've had doing your dirty work all this time -- it's been quite a long time, hasn't it?
I'll look forward to seeing how much of a mess the Foundation makes this time.
