Week 0 || ACT: ATTEND
["We will tell you later," they had said. "We need to gather more information." Defer until later, let others investigate.
Truthfully, they had been hoping a solution would materialize on its own. That calling in a team for assistance wouldn't be needed. But time has passed, and the silence has only stretched on longer.
So, when the email comes, telling everyone of an important meeting, it might not be a surprise. After all, this conversation is one that has been a long time coming.
The two who have called the meeting- Solomon and Frisk- have prepared a meeting room for this occasion. It is set up not unlike a lecture hall, with several rows of chairs facing a whiteboard and projector screen. The two O5s are at the front, with Frisk going through one final check to make sure everything is working while Solomon watches. Both will nod to the arrivals, but neither will speak to them.
Once the last few who are coming have found their seats, Solomon will clear his throat to gather everyone's attention.
It is time.]

Yes, I can, and yes, I will. I know that you can handle 3 and 4 and, this time, I will make it back. But you know the stakes that are in this situation and I don't just want to send a team to do our job for us while we sit back! It's not fair to them! And besides, I know the Underground as much as you and Asgore, so this is NOT open to negotiation!

You think you, the Conqueror, the 'Scourge of all Monsterkind', can just walk into the Underground as you see fit? That just because you won the war you have a right to set foot on the land you locked away and isolated for thousands of years?!
I have accepted you as an ally, both for the sake of the Foundation and because That Child seems to favor you. But do not mistake my acceptance for forgiveness!

[ at the tone shift, solomon's shoulders straighten and his expression goes absolutely blank.
he speaks in a level tone, golden eyes sharp. ]
I see. Certainly, King Asgore, your anger is understandable. And if that is the case, I present to you an alternative. Lead the 6350s into Mount Ebott in my stead. These agents need a guide, and no one except us two know Toriel. I am certain that she would love to see you again.

[Wow, way to hit below the belt. Frisk's face shifts from shock, to anguish, and then to...well. Suddenly Frisk looks like normal again, the -_- face as present as usual. But then they blink a few times and look to Solomon.]
Wow, low blow. I think you actually made him cry.

[ he didn't want to deal with this here???
he sighs, expression sullen. ]
I have to fix my mistakes, Frisk, even if it means putting my life on the line. I can't continue to have others do it for me.

If you go, I can't go with you.

[ he really is. ]
In my absence, I will leave you in charge. You will have my vote for any decisions that need to be made, and you know that with my vote comes O5-1's. Basically, you will have the majority.

[ he doesn't need clairvoyance for that one.
spice block chatters, peeking out from solomon's hair. ]
But I have to do this...for the sake of the 6350s. They have done so much for us. [ he scoffs, giving frisk a self-deprecating smile. ] But maybe I'm just saying that to make myself feel better. I am...actually pretty nervous about going back there. If that is what Asgore thinks about me, then I can only imagine the rest of the Monsters...
