["We will tell you later," they had said. "We need to gather more information." Defer until later, let others investigate.

Truthfully, they had been hoping a solution would materialize on its own. That calling in a team for assistance wouldn't be needed. But time has passed, and the silence has only stretched on longer.

So, when the email comes, telling everyone of an important meeting, it might not be a surprise. After all, this conversation is one that has been a long time coming.

The two who have called the meeting- Solomon and Frisk- have prepared a meeting room for this occasion. It is set up not unlike a lecture hall, with several rows of chairs facing a whiteboard and projector screen. The two O5s are at the front, with Frisk going through one final check to make sure everything is working while Solomon watches. Both will nod to the arrivals, but neither will speak to them.

Once the last few who are coming have found their seats, Solomon will clear his throat to gather everyone's attention.

Welcome, everyone. Thank you for coming on such short notice. I hope your vacation was pleasant.

[ solomon's the first to speak up, his gaze and posture still as he begins addressing the crowd. on his shoulder, peeking out from his hair, is a creature that most will be familiar with--azrael, also known as spice block. ]

We sent agent Red on a reconnaissance mission on January of 2020. We were in contact with her during the first month of the mission but since then she has gone completely dark. On May of 2020, agent James Moriarty was sent on a retrieval mission...but he too has gone dark. We do not believe this to be a coincidence.

[ he takes a deep breath, reaching for his mug of coffee to take a sip, which has become his new best friend as of late. ]

Their last known location was Mount Ebott, located in the Ebott mountain range in the state of Oregon.

[Frisk is there, doing the tech things! They click a clicker to show a map of Oregon, along with the location of Mt. Ebott. It's deep within a mountain range, far away from any towns.]

We didn't want to send a whole team in, as getting into Mt. Ebott requires stealth. And as much as I appreciate you guys, stealth isn't your strong suit. But we're at a point now where we can't really send anyone else. Other attempts at reconnaissance have ended either with dead bodies or agents getting turned back without any memory of what had happened.

Long story short, we need you guys to go in there for us. We don't know if those two are even alive still, but we're hopeful. Plan A is 'rescue mission', Plan B is 'take out whatever took them out'.

How do you plan on getting us through the obstacles then?

The first one won't be a problem, since Mr. Fluffy Hair here is present to let you through the barrier without memory problems. As for the rest-

Also there are some of us who are somewhat decent at stealth so don't count us all out yet. [Like hello??? But also questions-] But maybe we should get more information first - I want to know 'why stealth is necessary in the first place' as well as 'what kind of recon are we talking about here' before I have any further questions.

I know. And we're not saying that the worst has happened...as Mission Control stated, if they're alive, bring them back. If they're not...then we have a big problem in our hands.

Do we know what kind of thing we're going to be up against? If it's something that could take out those two, this isn't going to be as easy as "just send in a bunch of us".

[Especially after, you know, the whole "watch a bunch of videos about 6350s that vanished in a place" round of murder nonsense that just happened.]

For what it's worth, I've worked with Red for years and I have complete faith in her ability to survive. That's why 'rescue' is Plan A here. She's good at bunkering down and staying unnoticed if a situation is dangerous. Tracking her down might be difficult, but I fully expect you will find her alive.

I have tried to use my clairvoyance to See their location and their situation multiple times since my arrival...but all I receive is darkness. It is like looking into an endless pit and that is what worries me the most.

... you're probably right. Her managing everything from her home and the Camp- she wouldn't die this easily. But I mean it- if's she's dead and I survive whatever got her, I'm not stopping there.

He had no questions 'so far' at this time, letting the others ask them as he took a sip. Though he may have let out a chuckle at 'rescue mission', as if finding the idea incredulous. ]
