Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

This isn't a question, but...I was thinking about patrolling tonight. I can't go on the roof or anything like that, but I think that at least walking inside the house and the yard should be worth something, right?

That's right, I'm average. Therefore, sacrificing fodder like me should be much simpler than putting her on the front line.

Its beneficial to have average people in this little group. Someone the audience can connect with better compared to those of us with all kinds of powers.

I'll do it transformed. If there's one thing I'm confident I can do as Cure Aqua, it's stay alive.

Saki would probably kill me if anything happened to you, you know.

I don't think she'd be happy with me for letting anything happen to you, either.

[ He sighs, and while it's not an objection he feels the need to make something clear. ]

Aqua fought back as well.

I'm goin' to be out there anyway? I'll be around.

[He'll address the Karen question in half a minute but like. He's out all the time Thursdays, it's a thing. He'll probably have traps out again too because y'know. Gotta do what a dog's gotta do.]

I'd go. It's gotta be less boring than just sitting around waiting for some idiot to try and kill me.

On second thought, maybe nobody needs to patrol.

The fuck does that mean? [arent you glad nobody took that suggestion seriously?]

...perhaps. If you're judging worth you should ask Nora and Silver.

I'm not judging worth, Alcor. If anything, I'd prefer not to get anyone else involved in case things get dangerous and I can't protect them. I don't want to lose people others care about.

[ but vanitas and karen are both raising good points, and he looks and feels unsure. ]

What I meant is that patrolling does not guarantee safety given what we were able to accomplish last week.

I know that it might be for nothing and that it might just get me killed. But isn't it worth a shot to keep trying...?

I am not saying it isn't. But it is something to keep in mind.
