Week 4
It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.
The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.
Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

On that note, if one looks carefully, they'll find that somehow Ellie seems to have acquired some suspicious injuries that weren't there last night... But wasn't she part of the sleepover?
She'll also be visiting Leo early on in the morning to bring him a gift, though if she can't find him she'll leave it on top of one of the footlockers in the Purple room.]

Ah, Elle! What happened?

Well, you know that sword we planted the other day? Apparently I have to prove myself worthy by fighting its previous wielders. I've been fighting one every night, and last night was... Pretty tough.
Well, it was a good experience anyways, though.

So... There should just be one more, probably? I'm not exactly sure how to prepare for fighting myself, so I might end up failing at this part, but we'll see how it goes.

Hey, Ellie. What brings you here?

[Naturally, it's still wrapped, because opening other people's presents is rude.]
Aside from that, it's just the usual. I want to learn more of your college cooking skills if there's some free time later, and that's something that I should ask about ahead of time so that I'm not getting in the way or anything.

[He indicates the ever-present goggles around his neck.]
Wonder what this one is....
[He pulls the ribbon and opens it up, his face breaking into a delighted grin when he sees the familiar yellow camera.]
Oh man, it's my camera! Hopefully all my pics are still there....
[He turns it on and starts flicking through them.]
I can show you some pics of my friends from Libra with this!

[Please show me your friends, Leo.]

Good morning.
Re: praying
Good morning. I hope nobody minds the new additions too much, I was just thinking that the Foundation's probably going to forget they ever lived, so I should probably do something for them, too.

Hideki was probably what you would call the "leader" of the team. Well, he was still D-Rank like the rest of us of course, but... He would do things like set up movie nights and little parties so that everyone could get closer to each other.
Caithe was... she was a lot like me, actually. She was way better with words, though. She was really good at figuring out secrets, and was always trying to do the right thing, but she was also the secretive type, so we often wouldn't hear about it until after she did something.
Poe was the reckless type. He was a genius when it came to driving or piloting things, but he tended to jump into things without thinking and get everyone into trouble.
Nana... Well, she called herself a sadist, actually. Still, she was good at taking care of people, even though she had a lot of trouble depending on other people.
And Ginny... Ginny was feisty. Nothing could scare her, and she would always stand up for what she believed in. She was even running a blog about the Site, if I recall. Limited to the Foundation, of course.
It was a good team. Still, none of them were a good fit for the Foundation as it is now.

Sounds like it was a good team. Are they... all gone?

They really weren't suited for the Foundation as it is now. Eventually the higher-ups concluded that they were a high flight risk, that they were already planning an escape. Rather than risking a containment breach by watching and waiting, they concluded that it was best to have them terminated.
To be honest, I still don't know how true that story was. It's true that they didn't get along with the higher-ups at all, though. They were outspoken and would stand up for what's right no matter what their superiors said, after all.
[And as we all know, that's still not treated as a good thing in the Foundation.]

So unfortunate. Maybe if the Foundation stopped to look at what made people feel like running away, instead of just terminating every little bit of dissent...
[he touches Ginny's name on the block]
I read about her, a little. The House gave me one of the books she's in. .... I think I would have liked her. I'm sorry you lost them, Ellie.

praying memorial mantis
[Nora's just peeking over her and kind of looming semi-accidentally, because Ellie is tiny and he is a tall-ass dog, blinking at the list of names. Who the hell are these people. Why are they here. Why can't he leave a poor girl to her mourning meditations. These are the questions we ask ourselves on this fine day.
Eventually he stops squinting at the memorial and starts squinting at her.....]
... Did Dazai have ya punching Prinnies or something? What's your deal.
[Considering yesterday with the dance, it's obvious he's not 100% serious but also. Ellie water you doing these days.]
no subject
Ah... These aren't people that died here, at least. They died in the Foundation, but I'm pretty sure they were redacted out after the fact.
[It does take her a minute to understand what he means by the punching prinnies thing, but she eventually pieces it together, and...]
...Oh, the injuries? It's apparently some thing I need to do to use that sword? "Only if you defeat the previous wielders in some weird soul battle kind of thing can you truly use the sword", it's that kind of thing.
no subject
[Nora's pretty flippant about it, anyway, but he crouches after a moment to peer at the list of names. Nope, not agents he recognizes or wants to beat up so definitely these aren't really much of his concern at all. There's a tilt of the head.]
Guess they wouldn't be redacted if they were here, though, the whole Foundation would see it.
[Does that mean they wouldn't be redacted, or something more ominous? Who knows. He's definitely more interested in the sword at this point.]
... Wait, wait, wait, so you get to fight weird soul battles while being stuck in this place? That's totally unfair.

[Wow, getting his hopes up for some real exercise only to shoot them down...... truly Ellie is a merciless mole-slash-Dazai-lackey-slash-something-or-other. Who knows what she is at this point, Nora really and definitely doesn't, but at the moment she is A. Rude and B. Unfairly in possession of nice weaponry.]
Ughh, at this rate I'll even take soul half-battles, I'm going to either explode or turn into a jelly demon by the time we're done here if I gotta stay stuck in this house any longer!!
[There's angry fidgeting going on next to her and basically Nora trying to kick the ground while crouching which is completely useless.]
no subject
[She is giving you an opportunity to beat her up, Nora.]
