Week 4
It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.
The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.
Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

[Past the garden, on the south side of the house, there’s something new. Leaning up against the wall, protected from possible rain by the eave of the house, is a flat piece of wood with framed photos hanging on it. The photos show familiar, smiling faces (or, at least, neutral, in some cases) — Akechi, Azula, Aqua, Sandalphon, George, Ozaki, Mitsuru. Those that had been lost. In front of that is a box labeled “Offerings”.
There’s an arc-shaped flowerbed with the concave side facing the memorial board. Off to one side, there’s a palette of flowers in individual containers, ready to be planted. And in front of the bed is a handcrafted wooden bench — nothing special. It looks like it’s made of the same lumber the Prinnies use to build stuff in the studio. There’s also a large piece of sheet metal.
Throughout the morning, Silver will be working diligently, planting flowers and small shrubs in the bed he made yesterday. He has on the gardening gloves Akechi gave him, and seems very focused on the task at hand.
Later, you may catch him bending the piece of sheet metal to cover the bench, making it look a bit more professional and sturdy…
And even later, around 1 pm, you might catch him sitting on the bench in quiet reflection, talking to himself.]
Sorry. That’s the best I can do. Ingway’s bench is pretty good, though, don’t you think?

[Later in the afternoon, Silver will be in the orange room, reading a a book. Except he’s not. He has his phone out inside the book, turned from the cameras. Though he does make an effort to turn the pages every once in a while to look convincing.
He signs onto pesterchum and sends a request to “GenkiGravekeeper” from his account “ArgentESPer”.]
AE: Are you there?
AE: Please answer.
AE: I need to talk to you.

WILDCARD
[He can also be found out and about -- garden, kitchen, pool, etc -- when he's not doing the above things!]

Grabbing her framed pictures off the memoriam and walking away with it. ]

[Silver doesn't really give chase, though. Just looks at Vanitas with tired eyes]
....
no. You know what, it's... fine.

Later, when no one is around, he'll hang a blue paper star in place of the photo ]

Is this... a shrine?
no subject
... Yeah. It was Ingway's idea.

[She'll move to look at the pictures in particular.]
Sorry, don't let me distract you. I just wanted to see.

[ s'up Silver, don't mind the teenage girl in the maid outfit, it's fine. ]
Have you been working on this all day?
no subject
[he doesn't say anything about the outfit, though he does look at her a little longer than he might usually. He scoots over so she can sit if she wants]
It's... nothing special. But it will do. [he nods at her question] Yeah. I dug the bed yesterday... Ingway made the bench. Then I planted the flowers and made the board this morning.

Shrines never have to be anything special, you know? It's the feeling put into it that matters the most. I know.
[ from experience. she's speaking from experience. ]
Oh, right-- by the way, would you be willing to help me with something on Thursday? If you're up for it.

AE: I'm a contestant on the stupid show.
AE: The hedgehog one.
AE: Are you the one taking care of them?
no subject
GG: Yeah, they're all here.
GG: They're safe right now.

It's a memorial?

Yeah. It was Ingway's idea. It's... alright, I guess. I don't have much of an eye for design.

Memoriam, Even Later
When it's completed, Moriarty blinks - and walks forward, almost as if he's in a dream, staring at one particular picture, a...complicated expression on his face. It's hard to tell exactly what it is - sorrow? Regret? Pain? - before reaching out with a gloved hand to brush his fingertips against Akechi's picture.
Then, as if he's been repremanded, he quickly draws it back.]
...
[Hearing Silver behind him, he turns around.]
I believe they would be pleased with your efforts - Silver.

Silver watches Moriarty approach, like a man sleepwalking, and a sad smile plays on his muzzle]
Do you think...? I... dunno. It's not the best thing. But it's better than nothing.
[Silver gestures to one of the flowers in the bed and uses his power to pluck a single sprig of tiny forget-me-nots on their little stem. He hands it to Moriarty]
You can tuck it in the corner of his photo.

But he comes back out after a few minutes holding some things. Akira gently lays a bowl filled with sand in the Offerings box and places several sticks of incense straight up in it before lighting them. If Silver or anyone else listening speaks Japanese?]
'I will not forget.'
[Akira reaches out to brush gentle fingertips against the edge of Goro's picture before slipping something small and folded underneath and fastening it there.]
You saved me some work, to be honest... Thank you for doing this, Silver.
no subject
He gives Akira a sad smile] Ah... you're welcome. It's... nothing special. But I think I needed it.

in memoriam ish
Nora pls stop dumping random crap on dead people BUT YOU'LL NEVER CATCH HIM ALIVE. That's not a death flag. Anyway, after a little while something else appears: a little pile of rocks, seven in all, painted in the correct colors. They're not really all that fancy, but they're probably better than Goodwill donations.
That's all folks. Dog hit his quota of emotional landmines last week.]

She super-grew all of Ingway's plants a few weeks ago, but yeah, people probably want normal earth plants, hm. ]
I didn't know you enjoyed gardening.
[ sup silver, they haven't really chatted since they got to murderhaus ]

Heheh... yeah... it's one of my favorite hobbies. There's something really rewarding about helping something grow.
