MOCK WEEK - WEEK 1 TRIAL
It was noon on Friday.
No matter where they were, no matter what they were doing...the moment the chimes rang out through the hall, they felt a change.
The world...began to expand, as they felt themselves leaving the world they were on, and towards another, much larger world...🗈

The world...began to expand, as they felt themselves leaving the world they were on, and towards another, much larger world...🗈
This new world looked like...the inside of an ornate courtroom, like something that wouldn't be too far from some kind of grand fantasy novel.
The Witch, Lambdadelta was there, sitting in the most important place, smiling brightly at everyone. There was no music to be heard, but... perhaps on another plane, in another place, someone else heard music as they gazed upon the proceedings.
As they looked around, they might have also been surprised to see that their forms had changed - perhaps only slightly, or a much more dramatic change. It seemed like this place demanded a different form in some way, even if it was just a change of clothing.
...There was a deep silence in the room, one that no one wanted to break. It was the faint tension in the air, like the moments before a race or a competition begins.
Yesterday had been the start of the game. But now, armed with all they knew...now, they had to truly go up against the Witch, and somehow.....win.
Right?

I want a full theory. If you're going to do this....Then make it count, and destroy the illusion of the Witch in full.

The night of Riku's death, the culprit came to his door and was allowed entrance. For a time, they traded conversation before the culprit stabbed Riku with the knife. Injured, he fought against his attacker and made his way to the door. Through the pain, he managed to spell out 'SO|' before he was stabbed in the hand. From there, the culprit...
[ A pause and her brows seem to furow. ]
... the culprit proceeded to shoot Riku three times. One of these three bullets ended his life. With their task complete, the culprit exited through the window and wiggled it until it locked.
[ A deep breath. ]
The true culprit is Vanitas.
RESULTS
Staring at this, one could think the Witch was scared, but she had no expression on her face as she watched it.
And then....Lambdadelta.....smiled.]
....I Accept it. Your blue truth...has blown away my Fantasy.
Riku's death was a Mystery.
[And as she says that...the storm fades. The winds die down, and then they are left in silence in the halls.
....well, for a moment.]
...So! Vanitas!
[Lambdadelta spins around - the cuts and injuries on her suddenly instantly removed, looking as pristine as ever. Wait....was she actually ever really hurt in the first place?]
You've lost your chance at getting your wish granted. In addition to that....you've become my property for a little bit. And, hm, you know what?
I thiiink....I want to play a little, don't you...? *cackle cackle*

... That's not a very healthy laugh, is it? ]

What was your wish, Vanitas?

To stop hurting. Pretty funny, at this point, all things considered.

Vanitas...
[There's regret in his voice, but does it really matter?
He's sacrificed Vanitas' wish with those words.]

Next time. Say it was me.

[Silver looks at him with hurt in his golden eyes -- not for himself, but for this boy that he would like to call his friend]
... I'm sorry. I'm sorry you won't get your wish.

Lady Lambdadelta, if you would permit me a moment more of your time... I have a simple request. [ Places a hand over her heart.] May I take the punishment in Vanitas' stead?
