MOCK WEEK - WEEK 1 TRIAL
It was noon on Friday.
No matter where they were, no matter what they were doing...the moment the chimes rang out through the hall, they felt a change.
The world...began to expand, as they felt themselves leaving the world they were on, and towards another, much larger world...🗈

The world...began to expand, as they felt themselves leaving the world they were on, and towards another, much larger world...🗈
This new world looked like...the inside of an ornate courtroom, like something that wouldn't be too far from some kind of grand fantasy novel.
The Witch, Lambdadelta was there, sitting in the most important place, smiling brightly at everyone. There was no music to be heard, but... perhaps on another plane, in another place, someone else heard music as they gazed upon the proceedings.
As they looked around, they might have also been surprised to see that their forms had changed - perhaps only slightly, or a much more dramatic change. It seemed like this place demanded a different form in some way, even if it was just a change of clothing.
...There was a deep silence in the room, one that no one wanted to break. It was the faint tension in the air, like the moments before a race or a competition begins.
Yesterday had been the start of the game. But now, armed with all they knew...now, they had to truly go up against the Witch, and somehow.....win.
Right?

Right?

You're also smarter than I gave you credit for.

What I did here was thanks to the others. The credit for the theory belongs to them, and... the responsibility for what will happen to you next lies with me. [ A breath. ] Will you be all right?

Do you want to look like Sora, or keep that face? I'm fine with either~

... Turn me back to normal.

She then lifts him in the air, causing him to float just like her - but not where he wishes to go. In fact, he can't even move...]
I'll let the others react to you before we start playing, okaaaaay? Have Fuuuun~

What was your wish, Vanitas?
no subject
To stop hurting. Pretty funny, at this point, all things considered.

There are some who would say that is the nature of life. To burn, to burn away until nothing remains. If we were not in the witch's domain, I would have given you eternal life, and freedom from that.
That is what my salvation means.
But since we are here, then it is not something I can grant. You've fought well to get this far.

There isn't any other way to make it stop?
[This is just pretend, isn't it? Perhaps they could find some other kind of magic...?]

Vanitas...
[There's regret in his voice, but does it really matter?
He's sacrificed Vanitas' wish with those words.]

Next time. Say it was me.
[Her eyes are closed, but there's a resignation there.]
no subject
I destroyed his wish for my own. It isn't just a matter of pretending someone else did it.
[That's his own selfish choice.]

[Silver looks at him with hurt in his golden eyes -- not for himself, but for this boy that he would like to call his friend]
... I'm sorry. I'm sorry you won't get your wish.
[he's sorry for a lot of things]
