WEEK 1

You've found a safe haven from the wind and the snow - yet, perhaps you're not quite out of danger yet. The Resort Staff are odd, but seem harmless - jumping to any whim you might have, if it doesn't make them oddly lock up.

The weather all week is perfect - the perfect temp and snow for plenty of skiing. The firepit in the courtyard is always lit too, with ingredients for smores and hot chocolate always available in the lobby. Though...in the halls, a strange bunch of songs keep playing from the hotel's sound system. Is whoever runs this place a weird cover song enthusiast?

So far, everything seems fine....but there's a weird sense of unease lingering over the Resort as everyone wakes up Monday Morning. Maybe that has something to do with that strange memory that popped in your head when you woke up? Or maybe it's that all of you woke up in the middle of a snowstorm, with no memory of how you got there?

In the end...even though everything should be fine, why does it feel like this is only the prelude to a nightmare...?

[He's simply passing on through when the sound of music drifts by. Admittedly, he's not expecting to see it originating from the man who reacted so violently during the announcement, but then again, it's not like someone's personality is indicative of their talents. And that lack of color... is something, that's for sure.

So while he won't be stepping within that black-and-white area, he sticks around long enough for Kohaku to finish his song, letting out a quiet round of applause.]

That was beautiful. Did you compose that yourself?

[ Luckily, sound and color return to the area around after Kohaku stops playing, which helps with, well, actually hearing what Rean says. It's nice to be credited with the capability to compose as well, instead of getting surprise for being skilled at all.

Tragically... ]

Nah, our orchestra leader is in charge of all compositions we usually play. Asshole's talented, I gotta give him that.

[Well, that's relieving. It would be really weird if the area stayed muted and he's not entirely sure what would entail if it covered the whole resort or something.

But orchestra, huh. It fits the profile at least.]

Haha... I'm guessing you don't like him much? Still, you're pretty talented yourself to be able to play something that complicated without so much as a sheet in front of you. Even someone like me can tell that.

Music's not a skill you can obtain without dedicating most of your life to it.

Yeah, I'll bet. We managed to pull something off before, but I can't imagine how much time we'd have to put in if we wanted to come anywhere close to a professional.
