Intro log: Welcome to The Resort!

Before you even open your eyes, you can tell something is not right. It's cold. Not quite unbearably so, but cold enough that you can take notice of it. And as soon as you open your eyes, you will be able to see why it's so cold: you're in the middle of a snowy forest, with only a single two-lane road cutting through the thick trees.
Unfortunately, you seem to be without transportation. Fortunately, you are wearing warm clothes and snow gear, so freezing isn't an immediate problem. But without transportation, you're in for a long walk ahead of you.
There are others around as well. Other people, just as lost and confused as you are. Everyone seems to be lacking any memory that might explain why everyone is here. As far as anyone knows, all of you were just ripped out of your previous lives and dumped here on this snowy road, wearing snow gear and having any items that are important to you already on hand. And for some of you, you even have a new power, one that you somehow instantly know how to use...
Two ways to go: forward and back. Despite having no indication of which way is the 'right' way, you feel drawn towards one direction in particular. Going 'back' is possible, but you get the feeling that you will be even more lost if you try. And given that you have no food or water on you, it's best to keep moving forward.
So, are you ready to walk? Because you have a long road ahead of you.
((Welcome to The Resort! Your characters will have any objects or animals with them that they should have given their canon point, but are dressed in cold weather clothing.
This prompt is just the first part of the intro log. New top-levels will go up over the course of the weekend as everyone progresses from 'where the hell am I?' to the resort proper, and to getting settled in. For now, just start with this prompt. We'll link further updates here for easy access.))

[ Someone had to say the obvious response as she finds herself hugging herself instinctively from the obvious cold. She wasn't experiencing winter prior to all of this, she needs time to adjust. And she's just turning a little pale because these sure are not the clothes that she last remembers wearing, and that thought makes her heart drop out of worry that she tries to not show that visibly.
But she doesn't seem to be alone, so.
Guess it's time to be social, as she walks up to the first person, straightening herself out as she asks, her tone polite and airy in spite of her irritation: ]
Excuse me, you don't happen to know where we are, do you?
no subject
Yeah, we're right here, Sicey.
[ Wait. A frown soon appears as she realizes something very, very important. ]
Huh? Sice would never be so polite.
[ She is trying to peer around the girl before her to see if maybe Sice is some how behind this girl standing here, right? ]
no subject
All to get information. ]
Aha... sorry, you mistook me for someone else. I'm Inaba. [ Leaving out the first name on purpose, it seems. ] Should I repeat the question oooor should I assume you don't know where we are, either?
no subject
Whoa. You sound just like Sicey.
[ Then she'll tilt her head as she curls a hand under her chin. ]
I don't know where we are. Just that we're all here together.
[ It almost sounds like it's a good thing. She's glad she's not waking up in a strange place completely alone and at least Inaba seems nice. ]
no subject
[ She shrugs her shoulders. ] Well, that's good to know.
[ No, it absolutely isn't but she's just going to sigh heavily about it. ]
Great! [ Dripping sarcasm as she throws her hands up in the air. ] Well, guess there's no use in standing around here, if we're all stuck in the same proverbial boat.

I don't, I'm sorry. But at least it seems we aren't alone?
[she's not sure if that's a good or bad thing, honestly.]
no subject
[ She finds herself tugging on the scarf around her neck a little closer to herself, sighing just a little heavily, but she tries to smile back, even if it's a bit strained right now. ]
Guess so. The fact that we're all unsure about where we are is a little... concerning, to say the least, though.

[the other is the natural pull she feels. That's Not Normal, and honestly... there's a part of her that wants to ignore it because fuck u, mysterious feelings.]
... But I think the first thing we should be concerned about is getting out of the snow.
no subject
Yeah, there's definitely a long laundry list of things that are wrong with this situation. [ Many, many problems. ] You're right, though. Hopefully there's a building nearby or something where we can ask a few things.

Sorry. I think your guess is as good as mine at this point. I can tell you that this doesn't look like any of the roads near Ymir though, so we can cross that off our list. [Unfortunately. At least if they were dumped there, he could guide everyone back to town, but...]

[ She raises her hands a little apologetically, but then there's a bit of confusion that settles in her expression.
Uh. ]
... Ymir? [ psyduck.jpg ] Where's that?
no subject
It's a small town up by the Eisengard Range. We don't get that many visitors, so I'm not surprised you haven't heard of it. But it was the first place that came to mind when I woke up half in the snow.

Well, she didn't really expect a lot of answers considering where she came from and where she was told she was going. So her tone is also as light as she can make it, if a little impatient.]
... No. Unfortunately, even I did have an idea where we are, the weather's not letting me learn anything else.
[A tilt of the head, considering, then:]
Where do you think we're going?
no subject
Nnnno idea. Somewhere's got to be better than here, though, I'd bet.
no subject
Yes. We can't stay here like this, but usually I...
[Usually, she'd have at least an inkling of what the hell is going on, but considering there was a mini-apocalypse going on back home who knows what the hell she's woken up to. She picks up from where she trailed off after a moment.]
Usually, this wouldn't happen.
[She raises her wrist a little. There's a contraption on it that looks like a fancy, flowery wristwatch. The little A.I. contained in it blares out in a tiny tinny voice: Coordinates not found.]

[He imagines. Iwai isn't pleased, but at least he has winter gear. He can't complain that much]

[ She does sigh, but she doesn't seem to be bothered by this answer. ]
I'm honestly kind of surprised how many of us are on the same boat.
