WEEK 4 MINGLE
The weekend that just passed was....frankly, a lot. Yet despite all odds, you somehow pulled out a win from the jaws of utter defeat. As you wake up feeling tired but happy, the speakers crackle to life with the voice of The Lady.
"Attention, Guests. This week, The game is temporarily suspended. This week, there will be no mafia kill. Take a break for your hard work."
And...indeed, it seems like this is a peace week. The Staff, after the disappearance of The Captain, are acting worse than they did last week - not only is there the blankness and the stuttering, but sometimes they even get orders wrong, with potentially hazardous results. Asking the Staff for things has become more dangerous and unreliable, but at least you meals are still good. Speaking of, The Chef has put a sign up on the door, reading "DO NOT TAKE KNIVES WITHOUT ASKING FIRST!! THAT MEANS YOU!!" written in big, angry letters. The resort also seems to be gearing up for Christmas - there are lights and trees scattered around the place, as well as mistletoe for couples to get their public displays of affection on. There's also some other holiday decorations around, for Kwanzaa and....something else you definitely have never seen before. The thing....wriggles, and you don't want to be around it for long.
The weather is still nothing, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Are you getting closer to the truth of this place, maybe? It's hard to say.

[ Roxas is definitely not going to say otherwise, even if he's feeling bad it didn't work out, and his shoulders are kind of slumping in that hug. ]

[ Roxas' words first to Cinque, and then he looks up at the sound of Vanitas' voice...damnit of all the people to see him like this - but he doesn't think he has the energy to say something back. ]
It's really that surprising?
[ Okay, no he does have some energy after all, even if he's just tired out mentally from all of that excitement. ]

[ Just yanking him over. Give her a moment, she'll heal Roxas after this.
If she succeeds on getting him down there with them she's letting go to throw her arm around him too. Group hug? ]

... and then he's letting out a quiet surprised sound as he's yanked?? over??? Once he's pulled into the group hug, his face grows just. The tiniest bit warmer and he looks from her... to Roxas.
If anyone says his face turns a little redder in that moment, he'll fucking p u n c h t h e m . . . ]
Seriously, Cin? Your healing methods could use some real work.
[ JUST PLAYING THAT SHIT OFF AS HE SIGHS AND MOVES TO STAND... ]

...You know that she's really not a bad healer. I think she's one of our best around, actually.
[ When Vanitas moves to stand, Roxas shifts slightly, thinking to get the other back for that teasing - which he fully knows he took too seriously on some level - and reaches out with one free hand to try to tug on his shirt to see if he can stop that from happening. ]

Seriously. Don't tell me you're afraid of hugs?
[ She'll then let the hand round Roxas glow as she casts Cure. ]

He lets out another quiet sound - this one closer to a growl - as he's grabbed. Vanitas is narrowing his eyes as he stares hard at Roxas...
... But, then, he doesn't say anything. He simply looks away with a sigh. Even when Cinque asks that question, he's staring over at some random spot on the wall. ]

I don't think he's afraid of hugs. But, maybe he can't handle what he's dishing out.

... He takes a moment to stare at each of them, eyes narrowed. But, after a sigh, he just. Discreetly leans the tiniest bit against Roxas. ]

[ Then he looks back over at Cinque, expression still bright and giddy like he just got an early X-mas present. ]
It's obvious he doesn't mind us at all, right?

[ She's giving them both a squeeze. Roxas deserves moments like this especially after what just happened. ]

The hand in his has him going still - if he draws attention to it, there's a huge chance Cinque will say something, the second she sees. So he doesn't move his hand. He settles for rolling his eyes. ]
