WEEK 4

The weekend that just passed was....frankly, a lot. Yet despite all odds, you somehow pulled out a win from the jaws of utter defeat. As you wake up feeling tired but happy, the speakers crackle to life with the voice of The Lady.

"Attention, Guests. This week, The game is temporarily suspended. This week, there will be no mafia kill. Take a break for your hard work."

And...indeed, it seems like this is a peace week. The Staff, after the disappearance of The Captain, are acting worse than they did last week - not only is there the blankness and the stuttering, but sometimes they even get orders wrong, with potentially hazardous results. Asking the Staff for things has become more dangerous and unreliable, but at least you meals are still good. Speaking of, The Chef has put a sign up on the door, reading "DO NOT TAKE KNIVES WITHOUT ASKING FIRST!! THAT MEANS YOU!!" written in big, angry letters. The resort also seems to be gearing up for Christmas - there are lights and trees scattered around the place, as well as mistletoe for couples to get their public displays of affection on. There's also some other holiday decorations around, for Kwanzaa and....something else you definitely have never seen before. The thing....wriggles, and you don't want to be around it for long.

The weather is still nothing, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Are you getting closer to the truth of this place, maybe? It's hard to say.

Anyway, Roxas doesn't think it'll be a bad idea to track them at least. Maybe they can find out something else from it too. ]

If it looks like that we can probably at least move to our rooms for that or figure out things to make our sensitive conversations more private?

Hopefully, yeah... assuming he doesn't decide to start snooping on us in earnest.

[Although with how many people seem to be in relationships here, maybe they really are safe from being watched??]

Have you played around or done anything with the rats before?

I think he's probably going to keep snooping on us the way he has but he doesn't seem like he'd change it up unless something big happened to make him do that.

[ ... But, Roxas has enough faith in all of them to manage a way to avoid being watched too much or something. Relationships is part of it, probably. ]

I haven't really done much around them, I think? I just kind of let them do their own thing and left them alone. What about you?

[ He's not exactly excited about rats who were eating human parts, but also they weren't disturbing anyone, so... he didn't want to get involved. Though he is curious about them. ]

Yeah, it makes sense. Still, we are on something of a time limit here, so I'd be a bit confused if he didn't feel like stepping it up at least a little.

[But then again they're also being used as meat shields for him so?? Maybe expediency really isn't a priority.]

Same here, honestly. The most I've really done is watch, but I've never handled rats before so I'm not really sure how to go about interacting with them. Although, I guess feeding them is always an option.

[ Roxas has been wondering if it's because the Outsider also has nothing else better to do. Honestly, if the guy isn't dead he also kind of wonders how he's been doing just fine up in there...because food. ]

Feeding them is probably a good idea. We can try maybe something like cheese and crackers?

[ Then again there's the whole saying that rats eat anything...but he sure isn't going to recommend anything that is not a normal snack. ]

[Honestly, he's had the same thought but he figures he somehow manages to get room service from the staff or... something. Anyways, he finally moves by straightening up and turning towards Roxas.]

Yeah, that sounds like something they'd like. Alright, feel like a trip to the kitchen?

[ I guess it'll explain where he'd be able to go poo-- okay no let's not go there.

Roxas does nod at the question with a small smile. ]

Yeah, let's get going right now. I kind of wonder if we should grab something for them to drink too?

[ The blond will start towards the kitchen whenever Rean is ready! ]

Sure, might as well give them the five-star treatment. Maybe some kind of juice or something.

[He'll let Roxas take the lead on this one, so following along it is!]

And then everyone ended up stumbling right into the Outsider's bathroom. ]

Grape juice is probably good. It can be sweet and I'm sure rats would like sweet things too. Unless you think there'd be a better option for juice?

[ And now they're in the kitchen! ]
