WEEK 4

The weekend that just passed was....frankly, a lot. Yet despite all odds, you somehow pulled out a win from the jaws of utter defeat. As you wake up feeling tired but happy, the speakers crackle to life with the voice of The Lady.

"Attention, Guests. This week, The game is temporarily suspended. This week, there will be no mafia kill. Take a break for your hard work."

And...indeed, it seems like this is a peace week. The Staff, after the disappearance of The Captain, are acting worse than they did last week - not only is there the blankness and the stuttering, but sometimes they even get orders wrong, with potentially hazardous results. Asking the Staff for things has become more dangerous and unreliable, but at least you meals are still good. Speaking of, The Chef has put a sign up on the door, reading "DO NOT TAKE KNIVES WITHOUT ASKING FIRST!! THAT MEANS YOU!!" written in big, angry letters. The resort also seems to be gearing up for Christmas - there are lights and trees scattered around the place, as well as mistletoe for couples to get their public displays of affection on. There's also some other holiday decorations around, for Kwanzaa and....something else you definitely have never seen before. The thing....wriggles, and you don't want to be around it for long.

The weather is still nothing, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Are you getting closer to the truth of this place, maybe? It's hard to say.

i can probably talk about the barghest stuff now but i don't think the staff will let us tell you who the jorogumo is

but when he killed me he talked a lot about his savior, that barghest puppy

and he also mentioned that i might've been the second best prey in this place besides the outsider

the barghest really enjoyed making people suffer. i don't know as much about the jorogumo but from what i've heard i don't think they're the same way?

the barghest was definitely the worst though it's good it's gone now

[She grimaces slightly, but she appreciates the info.]

Unless you have anything else important to add, I'd like to get back to talking to people and trying to convince them to not risk their lives by crawling through the vents.

i talked to one of the other guests here and he said they don't usually go after people from other worlds like us!

after talking to the outsider yesterday it sounds like something changed since then

but normally this place is just a resort that people from different universes use so i don't know if humans are really supposed to be here anyway?

[She stops herself before she loses her goddamn mind. She exhales sharply, rubbing her temples.]

i don't know what happened with your crew but if these ones can talk then we should try to talk, i think!

Maybe someone else besides me would be better off handling that.

Uh...he told me something about someone called Sol, but...I don't know how relevant it is. He said that Sol might be able to help us, if we can talk to them. They can speak more freely about the situation at hand.

We should also spend more talking to Ichigo and the Outsider. They're the keys to this place, apparently.

I can confirm that I never felt like the Jorogumo wanted me to suffer. I actually spoke about it with someone else and they agreed with those thoughts, apparently?
