WEEK 3

Week three opens like the other two weeks, but when you wake up, you know there's been a change in the area. At first, nothing is wrong - but when you look at any window, you aren't greeted with the cheery sight of the outside - instead, there's just a cold, harsh blackness. Trying to leave out the doors is impossible, too - if you try, you just find yourself back on the couches in the lobby. On top of that....The Staff are beginning to act even stranger, their glitching out becoming more obvious. Sometimes, they seemingly go blank mid sentence and walk away, as if they were reset, and slur or stutter their words.

The weather is...well, non-existent, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. Yet, it doesn't seem like you're any closer to solving this...

And time still ticks onwards, regardless if you're ready or not.

[ Early in the morning, Inaba can be found at the library, grabbing several books of note - mostly things in relation to morse code and medical-related things. Oh, and cookbooks, too? What's that last one for... She knows they might need the medical notes for Friday, and the first one might be useful for communication, too. Especially given that the ghosts can't bring their tablets with them to trials. Not that she expects to get any solid answers from the ghosts with this, but at least it's a better way to communicate with them than they are right now. After that, she can be found in the arcade, playing a variety of games. She immediately zooms for some of the newer titles that don't exist in 2010 - some of the fighting games (which she'll challenge people to, FIGHT HER 1v1) but more importantly?? Inaba is at some of the claw machines. And she keeps. Getting prizes. She has so many stuffed animals. She is burying herself in them. To the point where she just glances at the nearest person and asks, a little nervous, a little tense: ] Do you want one...?

[ Hi Inaba, he was in here again, because the arcade is a place full of games to play. Though he has to stop in his current one since she asks him that. ]

...Uh, sure.

[ He recognizes those stuffed animals from some of the claw machines, yep. ]

Do you play a lot of those games back home?

I... don't, actually? I mean, not frequently. Which is why I'm kind of surprised.

[ BY ALL OF THIS ]

[ Roxas looks over what's in front of him...hmmm...he'll reach for one that's a bunny. ]

That you're winning so much? Maybe it just means you're a natural?

[ He wonders if that means Inaba would be a good opponent for an arcade game, hmm... ]

Yeah. I mean, I don't have any superpower or anything, so. . . maybe I am? I think I'm probably better at other games, though.

[Well that got his attention, he waves as he steps inside the library proper, taking a peek at the covers]

Need a hand with those books?

[When he notices one called morse code, he gives a soft hum]

That would be useful...

If you'd like, sure? I should be able to memorize the morse code before Thursday night at least... but the medical books aren't going to be memorized in one day. And the cook books. [ Inaba... does not know how to cook. But she might attempt to learn. ]

[He'll grab a couple of the books]

I might need to learn Morse code if the Staff is starting to become less helpful.

Actually - it'd probably be good if as many people learn it as possible.

. . . yeah, I think it's something that we should all at least learn in general overall.

I would! You're really good at these games, huh?

[ Cinque hasn't ever played anything like this before ]

When you stay at home for long periods of time, playing games is the only thing you can do. I'm not good at games compared to Nanase, though.

[ She'll just accept that as facts because what home? Holding the stuffed animal against her chest. ]

That's still pretty cool. We never had time for these things.

Were you always busy or something...?

[ His mouth opens... and then closes. ]

What's the point of them?

[dereban]

There really isn't any point? I guess I'm just good at this.

[enter_the_darkness]

[ He studies the machine for a moment. ]

So, just doing it out of boredom, then? ... Not that I can argue against that, here of all places.

[ There's a pause... ]

How does it work, anyway?

[dereban]

It also helps me clear my head a little bit to think. And, well... this particular one uses two buttons to operate it. One to move it to the right and another to move it back.

[Guess who just so happens to love stuffed animals? Yes, it's this girl.]

Can I... Can I really have one?

Yeah, go right on ahead. I have a lot, after all.

Thanks. I'm... really bad at these things myself, so...

[She is absolutely taking a stuffed animal. ...But which one should she take... She needs to think about this very carefully, which is the cutest one that is also common enough in the pile that it won't be missed...?]

Don't worry about it. Just take whichever you want.

[If there are any black and white bears or pink and white rabbits in the pile of stuffed animals, Tsumugi sure is eyeing them though.]

[dereban]

I have way too many... I can't possibly.

Oh... You're overencumbered...

[Well... Tsumugi will start taking any bears and rabbits in the pile.]

Well... I'll take any rabbits and bears off your hands then, alright?

[dereban]

I'd really appreciate it, thanks.

[ She didn't expect to get all of these so easily, it honestly surprised her, she's not going to lie. ]
