WEEK 3

Week three opens like the other two weeks, but when you wake up, you know there's been a change in the area. At first, nothing is wrong - but when you look at any window, you aren't greeted with the cheery sight of the outside - instead, there's just a cold, harsh blackness. Trying to leave out the doors is impossible, too - if you try, you just find yourself back on the couches in the lobby. On top of that....The Staff are beginning to act even stranger, their glitching out becoming more obvious. Sometimes, they seemingly go blank mid sentence and walk away, as if they were reset, and slur or stutter their words.

The weather is...well, non-existent, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. Yet, it doesn't seem like you're any closer to solving this...

And time still ticks onwards, regardless if you're ready or not.

[there is a lot to think over, honestly, and she hasn't explored the second floor much. But she gets stuck in the arcade.

It was her first real outing as a student, her first chance relaxing and experiencing what her fellow classmates did-- not focused on being the student council president. She gravitates towards one of the gun games, honestly. Join her?

But if you don't want to do guns, you can see her standing outside of one of the karaoke rooms, hesitant. The last time she went to a karaoke bar, it ended in... well, a complete transformation for her.

[Did you say gun games? She was just thinking she needed to get practicing her marksmanship again. She hadn't had any chances to do it the entire time she was here, after all.]

Do you mind if I join in as player 2? I need to get some practice in.

[justfists]

Oh, of course.

It's more fun to play together, right?

Right, it is!

...Actually, this is the first time I've had the chance to do this kind of thing. Normally at the range you would just be doing things on your own, and I don't think we had this kind of thing to practice with. It should be fun to be able to work with someone else, though!

[justfists]

Oh! Are you used to a normal gun? Or... normal target practice?

This might be a little different. But I can show you the ropes if you need.

karaoke

Are you interested in karaoke, Niijima?

[ There seems to be slight curiosity in her voice. ]

[she jumps a little-- seems she'd been lost in her thoughts.]

It looks fun, but I didn't have a good time the last time I came to a karaoke bar.

[dereban]

You didn't?

[ Curiosity filters in her voice, arms folded. ] Did you want to talk about it? Or. . .maybe we can actually go in and have some fun to make up for your bad time.

[justfists]

Maybe we could do both? I looked at the song list and, well, honestly... it looked really good.

[she's not opposed to talking about it, after all.]

Arcade

[The arcade's a pretty unusual place for a resort in the middle of nowhere. He had been looking around when he stumbles upon Makoto getting in front of one of the shooting games]

You got experience with guns?

[Iwai wouldn't be asking any teen that, but since she's a Phantom Thief...he figures she has at least touched one of his models]

[she definitely has touched one of his models-- and he'd probably notice her brass knuckles... if she had them out. So she looks up, and... well. No point in looking innocent.]

I have a little bit of experience.

[she recognizes him from the airsoft shop, even though she's never been in before.]

[A game isn't the same than using a real gun, but at the very least he wants to make sure she grabs a weapon correctly. Model or not, they should be treated with respect]

[well, she pauses at that and picks up the gun.

honestly, she like all of the other phantom thieves... are just grabbing it the way they think would be coolest, and using that feeling to use it.

[ Roxas is in here at some point, though he's not sure if he's a fan of gun games, but he'll tentatively draw closer. ]

Have you ever played this game before?

No, not really. What's it like? Can you show me?

[ ...hopefully it's not bloody or anything though or else he's peacing out real fast. ]

[it's very standard, the monsters disappear once shot, with only. minor red effects.]

Sure, just watch. There's a sensor in the tip of the gun. The game can detect when you've aimed at a monster on screen, and it'll make it go away if you hit it enough.

karaoke

[You know, despite everything going on here...

Minato's pretty excited about karaoke.

Holy shit, karaoke!!]

... Do you like karaoke, Makoto-san?

Oh! Hi Minato.

[she had jumped a little, deep in thought, but she looks back at him with a slight smile.]

I honestly don't know. I've only been once, and it... wasn't very fun. To put it lightly.

... Oh? That's a shame.

[Honestly...]

Karaoke should be a fun social sort of thing, you know?

Yeah. I bet it is.

[she pauses]

Do you want to Karaoke together?

[She could also function as a player 3 or 4, but it's probably best to not over complicate things with hair power abuse.]

I don't mind having a player 2. It's more fun that way.

[With a smile, she picks up one of the games' guns. What kind of shooter is this?]

[lets goooooo with a zombie shooter?! It's fine, it's fine, they can handle this!]

I don't think you actually have to worry about that, I'd rather just have fun for a moment!
