WEEK 3

Week three opens like the other two weeks, but when you wake up, you know there's been a change in the area. At first, nothing is wrong - but when you look at any window, you aren't greeted with the cheery sight of the outside - instead, there's just a cold, harsh blackness. Trying to leave out the doors is impossible, too - if you try, you just find yourself back on the couches in the lobby. On top of that....The Staff are beginning to act even stranger, their glitching out becoming more obvious. Sometimes, they seemingly go blank mid sentence and walk away, as if they were reset, and slur or stutter their words.

The weather is...well, non-existent, except for the courtyard, which is still pleasantly snowy. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. Yet, it doesn't seem like you're any closer to solving this...

And time still ticks onwards, regardless if you're ready or not.

I'm a pretty standard J-pop person, for the most part...?

Of course she's going to quietly cheer Makoto on with a tambourine with appropriate timing because they have those at karaoke places. She is absolutely paying attention to Makoto's singing, how good or bad are we talking about here?? ]

[justfists]

[so, she's not amazing, but also she's not bad. This is perfectly reasonable Karaoke!

Also, she is 100% into it? just way too much with the headbanging]

[dereban]

[ There's definitely a lot of ooh and ahh-ing going here, and she seems to be rather pleased as the song ends, although she finds herself laughing a bit at the headbanging. ]

Okay, that was pretty good.

[justfists]

[LOOK, IT'S A FUN SONG. And Makoto goes hard or not at all. it's a curse??]

That's a lot more fun than... well, the last time. But that one was my own fault.

[dereban]

I'm glad you're having fun this time, then. Karaoke's supposed to be fun, after all.

[ Her voice does lower a bit from amusement to something a bit more serious. ]

What happened? Do you want to talk about it?

[justfists]

Well... I don't mind talking about it.

It was part of the story of how I became a Phantom Thief.

[dereban]

[ Her interest is immediately piqued, and it shows with her bright eyes. ]

Alright, then. Let's hear it, then.

[justfists]

Well... I got kidnapped and blackmailed by a yakuza boss. Iiiiit... wasn't my best plan.

[dereban]

That sounds. . . pretty unfortunate, if you ask me.

[justfists]

The circumstances gave us no choice.

[no there was probably a choice? probably?]

But it worked out. Because of that, we were able to get access to his heart.
