Week 2 Mingle

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.
The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.
Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

investigation
Can't believe that all happened again so soon.
[ Shortly after and before it gets too late into the afternoon, he moves on from that, though, heading to see if he can head up the stairs because of course he's going to attempt it again.
Once the blond reaches the third floor, he starts investigating the master suite almost immediately. Everything looks so sparkly clean and nice that it's really been kind of...off-putting to him, even with the feeling that something is off. So he's trying to identify if there's anything he could spot as odd.
Like any secret doors, maybe? Anything underneath the bed...? ]

[ He's stiff as he moves to just. Sit down across from Roxas, chin resting on a closed fist. There's a questioning gaze as he studies the blond. ]
This is the kind of game we're in. The sooner you accept that, the better.
no subject
It doesn't mean I have to like it though, right?
[ He just picks at his scrambled eggs idly. ]
no subject
If you did, I'd probably think something's wrong with you.
[ Because that just wouldn't be very Roxas-like, now would it? ]
Anyway, if you start getting weaker from something as stupid as not eating, that'll just make it all the easier for me to kick your butt, next time.
[ Yet, he's only having coffee, the hypocrite. ]
no subject
There's no way I'd let that happen.
[ The blond begins to eat a little at that, though. But at the same time... ]
You too, you know. You're just having coffee, so why not grab a bite to eat too?
no subject
... Not hungry, yet.
[ After sitting the coffee down, his gaze drops to the table. There's something distant in it. ]
no subject
What's wrong? You look like you have something on your mind.
[ Roxas doesn't know if it'll be easy to get out what's bothering him, but he's determined to do his best. ]
no subject
I'm fine.
[ Behold: the lying liar, full of lies. ]
no subject
He absolutely hates it. ]
What's the point in saying you're not fine when you really aren't?
no subject
Frankly, he has no idea how to answer that question. ]
Would you rather I just say I don't want to talk about it?
no subject
Yeah...sure. There's no harm in that, and the offer's still there if you want to take it up later, because really what are friends for?
[ Roxas also really kind of wants to push it, but he doesn't know how to convince him, and while he's kind of disappointed, he'll leave it open if he ever wants to take it up. ]

Yeah. Yesterday, it seemed like things were starting to settle down a bit with that sleepover, but... I guess it's just a reminder of how fragile these moments can be here.
no subject
There was another sleepover?
[ He looks at Rean questionably for a second before returning to picking at his food, kicking his feet a little. ]
...I guess we can at least count on people trying to watch out and not make the same choices, but anything else can happen because of other things.
no subject
Yeah, in the lobby. They had a pillow forts and snacks set up there too.
[Please thoroughly judge their collective decision-making skills by deciding to sleep out there in the open, Roxas. But anyways, he nods.]
Right. There's too much we're in the dark about, especially since we don't even know much else about what other roles there are.
no subject
[ That is definitely kind of a pouting face. Yeah he judges a little, but also wishes he was there for a bit. He's such a kid...he can't always be the responsible one... ]
Yeah, which is dumb. Too bad punching them in the face doesn't get any answers or anything.
[ It just does nothing orrrr ... gets you punished depending on who you're trying to do what to anyone. ]
no subject
I don't remember what time it was last night, but I don't think it started until later. Either way, I doubt anything will stop them from making an attempt some other time, so there's bound to be another chance to join in.
[The smile drops quickly though as they move onto the next topic.]
Not that I'm a fan of interrogating people like that, but... yeah. The game would be too easy if it were allowed, I guess.
[Kohaku would probably have a field day though...]
no subject
Yeah, I guess so.
[ Well, while they're here, talking... ]
There's a lot they really try to make sure things are difficult for their own enjoyment. [ ... ] But, speaking of this "game" and all...can I ask you something? I was just curious where do you think we might be? If you had to take a guess - it can be as broad as you want too.
no subject
I've heard some speculation we were in a place called America, but aside from that, I don't really know. What I am certain of is that it's nowhere near home -- I mean, I didn't even recognize the currency they mentioned when we first got here.
no subject
[ There was so much going on Roxas supposed he missed that part of speculation, so he doesn't really fault himself for missing it. ]
...Unless you're from Earth and haven't heard of America being a place there.

[ Sadness... ]
I guess it's to be expected even something like this will take awhile to figure out.
INVESTIGATIONNNN
In addition, Roxas will be able to find a pink ribbon barrette on the floor near the dresser. Hm!]
no subject
It probably just looks like a normal pink ribbon here or nah? ]
no subject
There is nothing else particularly interesting in the room, though.]
