Week 2 Mingle

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.
The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.
Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.
MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

If you did, I'd probably think something's wrong with you.
[ Because that just wouldn't be very Roxas-like, now would it? ]
Anyway, if you start getting weaker from something as stupid as not eating, that'll just make it all the easier for me to kick your butt, next time.
[ Yet, he's only having coffee, the hypocrite. ]
no subject
There's no way I'd let that happen.
[ The blond begins to eat a little at that, though. But at the same time... ]
You too, you know. You're just having coffee, so why not grab a bite to eat too?
no subject
... Not hungry, yet.
[ After sitting the coffee down, his gaze drops to the table. There's something distant in it. ]
no subject
What's wrong? You look like you have something on your mind.
[ Roxas doesn't know if it'll be easy to get out what's bothering him, but he's determined to do his best. ]
no subject
I'm fine.
[ Behold: the lying liar, full of lies. ]
no subject
He absolutely hates it. ]
What's the point in saying you're not fine when you really aren't?
no subject
Frankly, he has no idea how to answer that question. ]
Would you rather I just say I don't want to talk about it?
no subject
Yeah...sure. There's no harm in that, and the offer's still there if you want to take it up later, because really what are friends for?
[ Roxas also really kind of wants to push it, but he doesn't know how to convince him, and while he's kind of disappointed, he'll leave it open if he ever wants to take it up. ]
no subject
[ Whoops, that was a little too... ...said in a serious tone. There's a sigh as he briefly runs a hand through his hair. ]
no subject
[ Roxas is going to take the question seriously... ]
A lot of the time, with friends, they can confide in each other stuff they wouldn't normally tell anyone else. When you and a friend get closer, the chances of that happening kind of increases by a lot.
Trust me when I say that it helps a lot, and sometimes [ a little less seriously ] it can be like being hugged by the warmest plush toy ever or getting a warm fuzzy feeling inside.
no subject
Warm... fuzzy feeling? What even...? ]
It was rhetorical, you know...
[ But, in spite of the small smirk, there's not as much bite to that as there could be. ]
no subject
[ ...oh great, now he's kind of embarrassed because he really did get into it for a moment there, and he was sure Vanitas was serious. ]
Really? Jeez...whatever.
[ Roxas just brings his plate back over to him to try to finish up his food - at least the comment wasn't very badly received. He'll just take what he can get, really. ]
no subject
Your friend means a lot to you, huh?
no subject
Yeah, he was the first friend I'd ever made. When I had nothing, he was there and managed to help me a lot too.
no subject
[ Not that he actually gives a damn, of course! ]
no subject
Axel - he's a pretty tall guy too with long red hair. You could never miss him even in a large crowd.
no subject
Tall with red hair, huh...?
[ And now there's a quiet hum-like sound as he glances away. ]
no subject
[ He watches Vanitas, a little curious...as always. ]
Don't tell me...you've seen him before?
[ Roxas is joking a little because he's sure that's not why he turned away, even if he's not sure what other reason he'd have for doing it. ]
no subject
Maybe.
no subject
[ Roxas' expression looks completely and utterly gobsmacked so good job with that. He knows that there were relatively few times for most people to have seen Axel - but he had never mentioned to him of having seen anyone like Vanitas before.
He debates whether or not it's something he would've kept from him...because that maybe? That doesn't sound like a maybe to him. ]
When?
no subject
Exact dates aren't exactly easy to track between multiple worlds. All I know is there was some guy with spiky red hair and green eyes hanging out a lot with some guy who has blue hair.
[ Thing is...... ]
Did this- Axel have any other name?
no subject
[ He thinks about the question carefully, wondering if Vanitas had seen the two on a mission or something. ]
Probably, yeah. Before he became a Nobody he would've had a different one.
no subject
Was getting a name with an x part of some initiation?
[ Vanitas fidgets with his coffee cup for a moment. ]
Lea...
[ Briefly, he lets that hang in the air. ]
I'm not entirely sure of the other guy's name - Izzy? ... Something like that.
no subject
[ Lea...he'd never would've guessed that was Axel's original name. ]
...You must've seen them awhile ago if it was their original selves.
no subject
Axel... Lea, Roxas... Sora?
[ Yep, he's suddenly muttering those names as he's scribbling in a journal... Give him a second! Though, he is pausing to give Roxas a small smirk. ]
Yeah? ... Does that make me even older than you, now?
