WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[ ... being around dead bodies tended to steel someone into being serious, and admittedly most of the time he's rather serious or stressed, so Rean can't be blamed for haven't seen this side of him yet. ]

There's a lot they really try to make sure things are difficult for their own enjoyment. [ ... ] But, speaking of this "game" and all...can I ask you something? I was just curious where do you think we might be? If you had to take a guess - it can be as broad as you want too.

I've heard some speculation we were in a place called America, but aside from that, I don't really know. What I am certain of is that it's nowhere near home -- I mean, I didn't even recognize the currency they mentioned when we first got here.

The Staff did say we were on a world called "Earth", so I guess America is a place on there too?

[ There was so much going on Roxas supposed he missed that part of speculation, so he doesn't really fault himself for missing it. ]

...Unless you're from Earth and haven't heard of America being a place there.

Nah, I'm not. I think I remember seeing a place like that on a map someone showed me, but I can't be sure. It seemed like a pretty big place though, so I don't know how easy it would be to pinpoint where we are in a country like that.

I guess it's to be expected even something like this will take awhile to figure out.
