Week 2 Mingle

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.
The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.
Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[ That's actually a little louder than expected but then sighs. She swears, every time she sighs she is losing years off her life.
Inaba just pinches the bridge of his nose, annoyed. Why. But her voice is lowered as she pipes up again. ]
You know what. Sure. Sure. I'll just ask him the details about it later. And I thought youkai house could not get any stranger.

[She sighs, pinching the bridge of her nose.] We also know from yesterday that the rats are being given human flesh to eat--specifically, those who die from this game. I feel as if the rats play an important role, and it's important to find out more about them.
no subject
[ She absolutely will, because she has questions. And also she needs to whack him again for doing more reckless bullshit. ]
Yeah, the whole thing about the rats is kind of. . . disgusting? Also, apparently if I'm remembering correctly, the rats can actually see the ghosts, too, based off something the Apprentice said.
no subject
[Doesn't know what she can do with that information yet, but it's important. Probably?]

That's just something he said. Actually, let me check real quick what he typed...
[ She's not going to show the conversation because it gets real personal, but then she reads aloud: ]
"Things around here weren't as stable as they are now, so I ended up in my room or with the rats, mostly. They're pretty friendly." I asked him if the rats could see him and he responded with "They seem to be able to, yeah. They're one of the few ones who can, along with the Nue."
Basically.

So he was talking about before we came here, but after he became a ghost? I don't think it's normal for rats to be able to see ghosts, huh?
[Not entirely a serious question. But like, who knows, there's always a lot of superstition about animals sensing the supernatural. She wouldn't know.]
... Do we know if Appy-kun and the others are the only ghosts here?
[How haunted is haunted, exactly.]

Waves her hands in the air rather dismissively because she doesn't know!! ]
Add that to the list of questions to ask, but I'd say probably? I mean, he did say that he felt alone, before we showed up, so.

Kurusu-kun isn't the brightest bulb sometimes, is he?

[ IT'S WHAT HE DESERVES!!!! ] Well, at least it sounds like he didn't get hurt that time.

[It would be great, and he'd probably keep it on.]
